Very dishonest manager. Owner lives in Europe. We rented the cottage in June 2011. Did not return $500.00 of deposit. Gave several excuses re. Canada Post (twice), the mail bounced back etc etc. Told us that the inspection was clear and no charges would be incurred. We cleaned the whole place b4 leaving, utensils washed, kitchen and counters cleaned, and took all garbage with us and basically left the cottage in its original look. But to date we have not received the deposit back. Stops answering emails and calls after a month. We threatened to take him to court and he said "Sure, come all the way here to file your grievance"
