The house and setting was beautiful but unfortunately the experience was ruined because Trevor did not return our deposit of $500.00 We have tried repeatedly to call him and email him and he no longer responds. This has been going on now for 6 months. We left the cottage cleaner than when we arrived and we even did the laundry. So there could not have been any problem with how we left the house. We even cleaned up a mess that occured after the downstairs sump pump backed up while we were there. Trevor never even thanked us for cleaning up after that problem which could have easily been avoided had he told us to run the pump while we were there.
I feel bad that I have to resort to writing a bad review for such a beautiful cottage just because the manager refuses to pay back the deposit of $500.00. I just don't want others to have to lose their deposit as well.
