About Sunrise Trail, Nova Scotia

Sunrise Trail is a 196-mile beautiful trail on Nova Scotia's North Shore. More specifically, it's located on the Northumberland Strait - stretching all the way from Amherst to the Canso Causeway. 

Along the Sunrise Trail, you'll find many wonderful communities, parks, and beaches. Be sure stop at Rushtons Beach, for example, Waterside Beach, and Amherst Shore Provincial Park. Also, check out such lovely communities as River John, Wallace, New Glasgow, Caribou, and Pictou. Indeed, the trail is known for its hospitality. 

Sunrise Trail is also known for its warm ocean waters, great hills and forests for hiking, as well as biking trails, golf, kayaking, resorts, restaurants, vineyards, historic sites, and its fog-free summers.
