About Ramara, Ontario
The township municipality of Ramara is the result of the amalgamation of townships Rama and Mara (in 1994). Ramara is located in Simcoe County, Ontario. It stretches across the shores of two lakes - Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching. Its various communities include Bayview Beach, Floral Park, Riverside and Lagoon City, Val Harbour, and Southview Cove, among others.
