About Rainbow Country, Ontario

Rainbow Country is located in Northern Ontario.  Its regions include Parry Sound, Pointe au Baril, French River, Pickerel River, Greater Sudbury and Manitoulin and North Channel.

The Country is full of comfortable bed and breakfasts, great hotels, as well as camping grounds and trailer parks.

Ride on the Water

In the summer, go to the marina and rent a boat, or rough it a little and take out a canoe or kayak (and confront the white rapids!). Whatever you choose, be sure to get out on the water and explore the islands, the Spanish and French Rivers, and more.

Winter in Rainbow Country 

By all means, try snowshoeing in Rainbow Country! While snowshoeing, keep an eye out for such beautiful birds the Blue Jay and the Canada Way. Also, enjoy cross-country skiing, hiking, dog sledding, ice skating, and, of course, snowmobiling in the region's miles and miles of groomed trails.
