Prince Edward County and Quinte, Ontario
Although Prince Edward County has "county" in its name, it is not officially a county. Rather, it is a Regional Municipality in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is located just west of the head of the St. Lawrence River, on the eastern end of Lake Ontario, and it is enclosed to the north and east by the Bay of Quinte.
The region Quinte is located on the Bay of Quinte. Its largest city is Belleville.

Prince Edward County is a rising star in the tourism industry. Since 2000, the city has been building a new concrete skating park and playground. Until these new tourist attractions are complete, Prince Edward County still has much to offer, including Sandbanks and North Beach Provincial Park.
