Sturgeon only became a city in 1999, when numerous towns, villages, and communities amalgamated into one - to form West Nipissing. Sturgeon is where most of the action happens in West Nipissing!
Sturgeon Falls has many wonderful accommodations to choose from. There are cottages close to Lake Nipissing, for example, cabins and campsites, resorts, and more.
When in Sturgeon, be sure to check out the Sturgeon Falls Recreational Complex. There, you can enjoy outdoor recreation, including fishing and boating. While, indoors, you can take a sauna or swim indoors - water slides and all! In the winter months, moreover, you can take a skate in the Complex's ice rink.
Leisure Farms is another great place to visit in the warmer months - known for its great berry picking.
