Sylvan Lake is located in the heart of Alberta, in Red Deer County. The lake "Sylvan Lake" is 9 miles long, and the town of Sylvan Lake rests on its southeast edge. Many people from Alberta consider this beautiful town their second home - over 1.5 million tourists flock there each year!

Sylvan Lake is a great place to buy or rent your dream cottage. There are many cottages available by the beach - which is ideal, since there's always a lot going on. 

There are many activities to enjoy by Sylvan Lake: waterskiing is a popular activity, for example; and, you must check out the Wild Rapid Waterslide Park, which offers speed sliding and a wading pool for the kids, among other things. 

When in Sylvan Lake, moreover, be sure to take a cruise or boat charter to some other nearby places.
