Hunting
Bear
Hunts run Saturday to Saturday, but by the time we set you up in a stand and get you familiarized with the area, it leaves you with a 6 day hunt. With more than 237 sq. k.m. exclusive to our camp, let us set up the baits to suit anyone's needs. Stands are accessible by side road, bush road, ATV trails and off the water. Your ATV is welcome and will assist in getting you back to some of our deeper baits, but our road and water baits give good success rates as well. We bait well in advance of the hunt, starting in June and continue throughout the summer to establish a regular bait strike long before the hunting season. Baiting is done with a mixture meat scraps, sweets and grain plus restaurant grease, and a few things we keep to ourselves.
Moose
The elusive majestic moose wanders the woods and slues, rivers and lake areas that surround thecamp. Located on the border of Wildlife Management Unit 28 & 40 has the natural boundary of the Montreal River. The drive-in bush location allows us to offer hunters one of the better opportunities only minutes away from land or off the water hunt. We have facilities to hang and local processing is available so you don't have to rush home early because of early success. We offer two types of service. We will supply you with tags and a map-guided hunt or supply your own tags and be a base camp only.
Grouse
Ruffed Grouse, Partridge and Spruce Grouse flourish in the thousands of acres of crown forest thatsurround the camp. Miles of access roads and trails make for ideal fall bird hunting in the bush trails with nothing less than breath taking scenery. The bush trails with the rise of the birds, singing of the guns, the smell of the pines then friendly comradeship back at the camp will not long be forgotten. ATV's and dogs are both welcome guests for the hunt as long as they are kept under control.

FISHING
The Montreal River has long been known for excellent Walleye, Perch, Northern Pike, White Fish and Bass, where your chances are good of landing a trophy fish. The river, with its nearby connecting lakes surrounded by crown land makes an excellent place to spend your vacation fishing the days away. Your vacation time will long be over before you can fish the 41 miles of navigable water.
We are surrounded by crown land, so you are able to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature as you fish the area. The river is very calm as it winds its way down to two lakes with depths of 20 to 65 feet and width from 125 yards to 1/2 mile. The shore line changes constantly with bottom structures varying from weed beds, to mud to gravel and rock bottom. Our wilderness setting will keep your head turning in amazement.
The Montreal River and Lakes systems has been described to us as the most beautiful country east of the Rocky's. With wholesome natural scenery, excellent fishing, and world class hunting, snowmobiling heaven and ATV adventures, this is the place to be.
