Property Description

Our resort is located on Eagle Lake and just inside the mouth of the Eagle River. From our weather-protected location you can experience the best Walleye, Muskie, Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass fishing that Northwestern Ontario has to offer.

Housekeeping & American Plan Accommodation:
Our lakeside housekeeping cottages are clean and comfortable with all the amenities that you need. Cabins range in size to accommodate groups of 2 to 10 people. You can also upgrade to American Plan and have delicious home cooked meals served to you in our main lodge, which has a sports bar, dining room and store. The top floor of our main lodge also has 5 modern suites.

Hunting & Fishing

Trophy Angling:
Walleyes are found in excellent numbers with good eating sizes right up to huge trophy Walleye. Muskie are plentiful and can reach great sizes with a few over 50-inches caught and released by guests each year. Northern Pike are everywhere. Eagle Lake is a labyrinth of waterways, islands and weedy bays. It's the perfect structure and habitat for Pike to proliferate in great numbers and get big. Our guests are amazed at the frequency in which they are catching big Pike. Every rocky point and shoal is home to large hungry Smallmouth.

Wilderness 4x4 Adventure Fishing:
Your guide will take you via 4x4 to a remote wilderness lake where you will experience some of the best Walleye, Northern Pike and Muskie fishing . This is a trip our guests continue to talk about and a trip you should consider if you are looking for real adventure.

Hunting:
In the fall we turn into the area's top hunting camp with outstanding hunting for Whitetail Deer, Wolf, Waterfowl and game-bird such as Ruffed Grouse, Spruce Grouse and Partridge.

Drawing lines on a map and connecting Dryden to Ignace to Kenora and then back to Dryden again, you have just drawn what has been called the Whitetail Triangle by Whitetail Deer hunting magazines. This area has been producing some of the most impressive Whitetail Deer Bucks in North America and success rates are outstanding.

Feeding on all those Whitetail Deer are Grey Wolf and Timber Wolf. Wolves often congregate where moose and deer paths reach the lake so they can take their pray out on the open ice. This is one of the prime spots we hunt for this challenging and sometimes elusive game.

There are many miles of animal paths, ATV trails and snowmobile trails you can walk down for excellent Grouse hunting. Eagle Lake is also within the boundaries of the Mississippi Flyway, which means multiple species of ducks and geese can be harvested when they stop on Eagle Lake to rest on their migration south.

There are many places to explore around camp and many activities and attractions in Dryden for the whole family.

Winter Fun
We are open all winter for snowmobiling and ice fishing. Snowmobilers riding the Trans-Canada Trail or local trails are welcome to stay the night in our warm and cozy cabins. Ice fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake Trout are available just a short distance from camp.

There are many other activities like swimming, snorkeling, hiking, ATVing, wildlife photography, birding and much more.

We will be open all winter and adding activities such as Ice Fishing and Wolf Hunting as well as offer warm accommodations for Snowmobilers, Cross Country Skiers and persons attending local winter carnivals.

Individual Cottage Description

Cabin #1 sleeps up to 10 people. This cabin features four bedrooms and four bathrooms with four showers, a living area and a fully equipped kitchen. There are 10 single beds.

Cabin #2 sleeps up to 5 people. This cabin features two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, a living area and a fully equipped kitchen. There are double beds in each room and a pull out sofa.

Cabin #3 sleeps up to 5 people. This cabin features two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, a living area and a fully equipped kitchen. There are 2 single beds in each room and a pull out sofa.

Cabin #4 sleeps up to 12 people. This cabin features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, both with bathtubs. It also has a large living area with a pull out sofa and a fully equipped kitchen.

Cabin #5 sleeps up to 6 people. This cabin features three bedrooms and one full size bathroom with a shower. It also has a living area and a fully equipped kitchen. There are 2 single beds in each room.

Cabin #6 sleeps up to 5 people. This cabin features two bedrooms and one full size bathroom with a shower. It also has a large living area and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a double bed in each bedroom and a pull out sofa. This cabin is nestled back by the trees for guests who want more privacy.

Cabin #7 sleeps up to 5 people. This cabin features two bedrooms and one full size bathroom with a shower. It also has a large living area and a fully equipped kitchen. There are 2 single beds in one bedroom room, a double bed in the other bedroom and a pull out sofa. This cabin is nestled back by the trees for guests who want more privacy.
