Only 1h ½ from Montreal. Chalet Lac-a-L'Ile is a private and quiet cottage located at the end of a private access road - no thru-traffic - so perfect for those with children.

It has (4) four bedrooms, (1) one four piece bathroom, kitchen, and open concept living and dinning area all on one level. It is fully furnished and comes with all necessary items for your stay. There is satellite but no telephone. There are plenty of DVD's for those rainy days or cold evenings.

The chalet is situated on a lake that measures 2.13 km long and is approximately 40 feet deep. Non- navigable lake (no motorized boats). The property has a shallow, easy-access waterfront. The lake is clean and has good swimming for all ages. There is trout, perch, pickerel, among other fish for the fishermen.

Our chalet is located minutes from the ski-doo trails of St. Donat. Just down the road is Kanatha-aki, where you will find cross-country and snowshoeing trails, ice fishing and wilderness tours. Within 30km you will find a few ski resorts such as; Mont Tremblant, Mont Blanc & Belle Neige. There is also ice skating on the lake and an outdoor fire pit to warm up after a long day outdoors.

We are very well situated in the Laurentians with easy access to Ste-Agathe-des-Monts(15min), Mont Tremblant (30min), Mont Saint Sauveur (45min), Morin Heights (30min), Val David (30min) and Saint Donat (20min) among many other villages. A half hour drive and you will have access to all of the activities you could imagine such as; golfing, go-karting, horseback ridding, paraski and wind surfing classes, hiking, fishing, & biking. There are water slides, a zoo. Cross country skiing, downhill skiing, skating, dog sled training, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and ice fishing. There are several beaches. There’s plenty of shopping. If you like the night life, the villages listed above has plenty of bistros, cafes, entertainment and so much more.....

There is a private tennis court and basketball court located minutes from the chalet in the village of Val-des-Lacs, as well as a playground and convenience store.

This four bedroom chalet can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably with 1 queen bed, 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Also included for young families, is a highchair, saucer, swing, vibrating chair, infant bathtub, basinet and playpen. The chalet comes fully equipped with all of the essentials such as stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, tea kettle, toaster, pots & pans, plates, bowels, and cutlery. It also includes a washer & dryer, linen, towels & pillows. An iron/ironing board, T.V. with satellite and a radio. Outdoors we have 2 kayaks, a paddleboat, an aluminim boat, a few fishing rods and life jackets. Firewood and snow removal also comes with the rental.

Additional Rate Information

Prices vary based on the season. We charge by the booking and not by person or night. We do rent for 7 nights, (Friday to Friday), 5 nights (Sunday to Friday) and 2 nights (Friday to Sunday). There is a $250.00 refundable deposit, if there are no damages, which is due upon reservation. We ask that a 50% down payment be made to hold your reservation. This will be deducted from the outstanding balance when the remaining 50% is paid. There is also a $75.00 non refundable charge for cleaning. We allow a maximum of 8 guests per stay. Pets are not allowed and smoking is not permitted inside the chalet.

House Rules

This Short Term Rental Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made by and between Erin Boulerice (“Homeowner”) and _____________________ (“Guest”) as of the date last set forth on the signature page of this Agreement. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows:

1. Property: The property is located at: 64 Chemin du Lac-a-L’Ile, Val-des-Lacs, QU J0T 2P0
The property is furnished and includes: Stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, tea kettle, toaster, pots & pans, plates, bowels, and cutlery. It also includes a washer & dryer, linen, towels & pillows. A television with DVD player (no cable/satellite) & no telephone.

2. Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of Guest and the following persons:

3. Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests is limited to 8 persons.

4. Term of the Lease: The lease begins at _____ p.m. on ____________ (the “Check-in Date”) and ends at _____ p.m. on ________________ (the “Checkout Date”).

5. Minimum Stay: This property requires a 2 night minimum stay. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than 2 days, the guest will be charged the 2-night rate.

6. Rental Rules: Guest agrees to abide by the Rental Rules attached as Exhibit A at all times while at the property and shall cause all members of the rental party and anyone else Guest permits on the property to abide by the following rules at all times while at the property.

7. Access: Guest shall allow Homeowner access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. Homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.

8. Rental Rate and Fees
Deposit: A deposit of $250.00 is due upon confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: If Guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, there will be a cancellation fee. Please see below for further information.

50% of the rental rate if cancelled within 14 days prior to the Check-in Date
100% of the rental rate if cancelled less than 14 days prior to the Check-in Date

***The cancellation fee shall be refunded if the homeowner is able to recuperate the rental income by occupancy. ***
