Peaceful and private, Starfish Cottage is an idyllic spot for a relaxing break yet close to many attractions and amenities. Watch spectacular sunsets from the deck, see the New Brunswick coastline across the bay, enjoy views of a nearby island.

The 1000 sq ft cottage is a century home with plenty of charm. With three bedrooms, it sleeps up to five guests. The living room, dining room and one of the double bedrooms all have a panoramic sea view; the queen and single bedroom have a view of fields and horses; sofa bed in living room. Comfortable furnishings, tasteful décor and linens, two flat screen TVs/ DVD players with collection of DVDs and books, wireless high-speed internet, washer & dryer, BBQ, and a well equipped kitchen including dishwasher and microwave. Bathroom has claw foot bath and separate shower.

Centrally located, Port George is an excellent base for exploring both the beautiful Fundy Coast with its pretty seaside villages, and the popular Annapolis Valley with its lovely rural landscapes and its orchards and wineries. Watch seals basking on rocks at Cottage Cove just a couple of minutes away. Four golf courses within 30 minutes. Less than one hour to several award winning wineries and to many popular destinations including Annapolis Royal and Wolfville. Less than 1.5 hours to Halls Harbour, Kingsport and the excellent whale watching areas of Digby and Briar Island. Less than two hours to the airport, to historic Halifax, Kejimkujik National Park and the beautiful sandy beaches of both the South and Acadian shores.

Minimum three night stay.

No tax.

DEPOSITS:
A deposit is required to secure a booking, the amount depending on the length of stay - e.g. $300 for a one-week stay and $200 for a three-night stay.

The balance for your stay together with a fully refundable $250 security deposit are due at least three days before your arrival.

PAYMENT METHODS:
Payment can be made online by credit card or bank transfer, and by bankers's draft or personal cheque in Canadian dollars.

House Rules

Small well behaved pets are welcome with prior approval.

Absolutely no smoking is permitted indoors at Starfish Cottage.

Because of the fire hazard, the use of regular candles is not permiited. Battery operated candles are supplied.

The local municipality operates a recycling program and bins are provided to separate waste into compostible items, paper/cardboard, plastic/glass etc. Further details will be provided in a guide available at the cottage.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT TIMES:
You can arrive anytime after 4pm and check out is before 10am. It will often be possible to extend these times if other guests aren't checking in/out on the same day.

Cancellation Policy

This deposit will be refunded (minus a $50 cancellation fee) if the booking is cancelled at least two weeks before the rental period. If the booking is cancelled within two weeks of the rental period, unfortunately we can only refund the deposit if we are able to re-book the cottage.
