The Captain's Lookout Cottages offer a breathtaking panaramic view of the Bay of Fundy. We invite you to come and enjoy our rustic pine cottages, high on a hill overlooking the rugged shoreline and beaches of our beautiful Bay. The Bay of Fundy is known across the globe for having the world's largest tides. It has been voted "Canada's Top Natural Wonder". In just six hours the tide can rise over fifty feet along the Fundy Coast, generating tidal bores and covering large beaches in a matter of minutes.

We have beautiful walking trails directly from your cottage door to nearby beaches and cliffs. A salt and freshwater lake lies a short hike behind your backdoor. Hiking, biking, shorebird watching, horseback riding, beachcombing and Adventure Tours are just some of the exciting attractions to be found along the Fundy Coast.

Get Back To Nature:
You can find us in the middle of scenic Albert County. A short 15 minute drive will take you to all our famous attractions. Enjoy the Cape Enrage Lighthouse where rappelling, kayaking and beach walking are amazing. Continue on a picturesque drive through Waterside and it's gorgeous beaches to the seaside Village of Alma, a fishing village where visitors can dine on fantastic seafood, explore the ocean floor and witness fisherman coming in with their daily catches. Alma is the gateway to Fundy National Park, which offers lush forest hiking trails, deep stream valleys and waterfalls, miles of beachcombing, fossil hunting and even a beautiful and challenging golf course.

Area Information

In the opposite direction you can travel 20 minutes to our world renowned Hopewell Rocks. This remarkable location is home of the highest tides in the world - you can experience them twice a day - every day! You'll want to visit during high tide and low tide to appreciate the height and range of the tides.

Just an hour away you will find fantastic shopping, dining and more in the hub of the Maritimes, the City of Moncton. Attractions include the Magnetic Hill Zoo and Giant Water Theme park, Tree-Go in Centennial Park, Crystal Palace Theme Park/Empire Theatres and ChamplainPlace for shopping at the largest mall east of Montreal. We are only 3 hours from PEI and the Confederation Bridge.

What You'll Find Here:

Our family cottages are fully equipped house keeping units. You can enjoy nature's finest sunrises from your front verandah on a quiet wooded hilltop overlooking the Fundy Coast. Nearby trails offer long walks to several picturesque beaches where you can explore the rugged shoreline. Rocky cliffs and sandy beaches await you... but be warned! The water is chilly! It's the Bay of Fundy, renowned for its eco-tourism, great seafood and adventure tours. This is a wonderful place for your family to get back to nature and her unspoiled beauty!

Cottage Description:

Captain's Lookout Cottages are warmly enhanced with pine walls, floors and ceilings. The kitchen/living area is bright and open with lots of windows with views of the Bay, garden doors to your verandah, and lovely cathedral ceilings to add to the charm. Each cottage has use of a firepit for evenings at the campfire, and a barbecue. There is a play structure nearby for the kids enjoyment, as well as a pond for the kids to explore. A fresh/saltwater mix lake can be found a 15 minute hike through the woods behind the cottages.

One Bedroom Cottage:

Our 1 bedroom cottages offer a full kitchen, full 4 piece bath, dining area, living area with a double hide-a-bed sofa and the bedroom has a queen size bed. These units will comfortably sleep four. These cottages are spacious, with their cathedral ceilings and well appointed rooms. Comfortable beds and cool nights provide a restful sleep to end your adventure-filled days.

Two Bedroom Cottage:

Two Bedroom Cottage, 2 Double beds & 1 King Bed (or 2 Single Beds)
Our 2 bedroom cottages also offer a fully equipped kitchen, 4 piece bath, dining area & living area. One bedroom has 2 double beds and the other has 2 single beds or king bed. These units will comfortably sleep six. Clean, comfortable and rustic - they are perfect for your family to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
