Property Description
The Secret Retreat offers peace, solitude and comfort on one of the most diverse, pristine and private nature preserves in Ontario.
Enjoy the sandy, shallow, south-facing shoreline that stretches 1,800 ft. Hike in ancient hemlock forests. Lay on a sunny raft in a secluded bay. Visit the many diverse eco-systems.
The lake you'll enjoy is a protected fishery that is home to a thriving population of lake trout. The Secret Retreat's beaver pond is an environmentally protected wetland where you can canoe and kayak with the beaver family, ducks, and herons; and, occasionally, a four legged visitor. Friendly deer, moose, bear, coyotes, wolves, foxes, otters, rabbits and other assorted creatures all come to visit.
The sky at night is stunning. And there's many a spot to enjoy a warm and friendly campfire.
We think you'll love The Secret Retreat.
