Don't leave the summer vacation planning too late. Remember last summer or have you deleted that memory. If you are thinking about a week or two lakeside this is the place for you : new toilet and shower, hardwood flooring and ceiling, new fridge and stove. 1km to the village of Delta: groceries, liquor store, and operating (occasionally) Old Mill with Industrial Museum and powerful little else these days which is precisely what makes Delta so amazing. The swimming, boating and fishing : bass(small and big mouth), perch, pike, catfish, barracuda, tuna, marlin - the usual fish found in an average size lake in S. Ontario, some on that list are found easier in stores. Price $750wk to the bargain of $600 (20% discount) in May, June, Sept., and Oct. If we get another spring like last why not get the jump on things and come early and save. Firepit out front facing the lake. Surrounding nearby communities have shops and restaurants. Rentals are from Sat noon to the following Sat 10am. New bbq in 2012. If you rent in the $600 shoulder season you might take the $150 saved over to the casino in nearby Gananoque and win big.

Linens And Flotsam And Jetsam

We do not supply any bed linen, towels, whiskey, wine etc. Clients are responsible for their garbage and only clear garbage bags will be accepted by the Central Refuse Scrutinizer. The CRS is judgmental and will not abide glass containers loitering with their plastic cousins, papyrus shall not cavort with garbage, nor will cans gambol with vitreous containers, but one might permit plastic to frolic with their can and metal relatives and so on and so forth et cetera. The thrust here: kind must stay with kind we do not tolerate miscegenation between packaging materials. . . save for plastic and cans. Thank you for your patience.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

The waterfront has two docks. The smaller one is where we practice our Olympic diving into fairly deep and weedless(even in drought stricken 2012) water. It has a new 4 step ladder for quick egress in case a marlin, narwhal or swordfish spots you for his shishkebob that evening. The water is limpid and pellucid in Lower Beverley Lake and you can now see underwater thanks to our good friends the zebra mussel. The water is also quite warm from June to mid Sept - I reckon plus or minus 80 degrees in the old Fahrenheit scale. The other dock is a 16 foot fendock for your boat, canoe, kayak et cetera. Forsooth, as a disclaimer, I cannot promise you any narwhal or marlin sightings, I have never seen any myself; the lake is 80 ft minus or plus at its' deepest. Nocturnal swimming is best done at night. Some sort of foot protection is advisable. Snorkel away.

Additional Bedroom Information

The cottage has an open concept upstairs bedroom with a queen size bed and a trundle bed. The trundle bed is a twin with another twin pull-out under it. There are chairs and a sitting table and a small television.

House Rules

$750 per week. In the summer of 2012 I simply collected the money upon arrival. I try to do what is easiest and best for the customer. That is not always the best for me. This year I'll have direct deposit.

Cancellation Policy

In the case of cancellation I would appreciate notification at the earliest possible time. If there is ample time to rent that week I would refund all money. The refund deteriorates as the weeks available to re-rent diminish.
