Property Description

We have a very nice cottage located a short walk (less than a five minutes) to one of the better beaches in the area. Since we are not always available to use it ourselves, we are interested in sharing it with others and help cover the annual expenses.

The property is 100 ft. by 100 ft. has lots of space for outdoor activities. We do have neighbours across the road, but the lots to either side of us are vacant lawn, so plenty of elbow room.

The cottage (22ft. x 33ft) has decks at both the front and back. The front one has an ample shade tree and the larger deck at the rear features a small outdoor fire stove, swing and patio "conversation" set.

Inside is an open concept, with a cathedral ceiling throughout the main living area and all the rooms off to one side.There are two bedrooms containing double or queen beds (haven't measured them to be sure yet) and a third with a single bed. There is also a small loft with two box and mattress sets, which is very popular with our kids. Finally, a propane heating stove is available should you be enjoying our place after the weather turns cooler.

Built in the late '60s, the building has been raised on to a concrete footing, insulated, the roofing shingles replaced and some of the windows have been changed to new vinyl, although the older ones remaining are still in good condition.

The bathroom was recently renovated, with a shower, but no tub. The kitchen is fully stocked with the necessary dishware etc. and has clean, reliable appliances.

- TV/DVD player (movie rentals available in the area)
- Large BBQ with side burner
- All fresh linens are provided, including beach towels
- Lawn chairs and some beach toys available
- Propane "wood" stove for off-peak season rentals

Additional Rate Information

Weekly rentals are normally from Saturday (check-in 3pm) to Saturday (check-out 11am). Depending on previous bookings, we may consider Sunday to Sunday. A 50% deposit is required on booking and the remainder is payable upon taking possession. We retain the right to require a damage deposit.

Although we plan to use the cottage during the fall as well, we are interested in bookings at a reduced rate of $500.00 per week until we close up at the end of October and again next spring, during the months of May and June.
