This luxurious cottage is located on Peters Island on Crystal Lake in the Kawartha Lake area approximately 2 hours from Toronto. Enjoy a sandy beachfront with southwest exposure giving you that sunshine all day long. Not far from your doorstep (approximately 35 feet), is Crystal Lake itself where the view is phenomenal. The Ministry of Natural Resources classifies this lake as a 5 star. This cottage is fully loaded both inside and out. Take pleasure in the vast amount of green space whereby many activities such as volleyball and badminton are there for families like yours to enjoy together.

Interior & Exterior Descriptions

This welcoming getaway consists of a massive living room along with 3 mid-sized living rooms on each of the floors. As a bonus, there is a walkout balcony off of the third floor living room. 3 bathrooms, one with a his/her shower with seating, and both sides have a double six-jet rain head plus a body shower unit. The large kitchen includes a dining room table, which over-looks the lake and seats 16 very comfortably. Get the true island feeling right here as you are surrounded by water when you’re on the main floor looking out towards the clear and calming lake. Warm up beside not one, but two cozy fireplaces! Air-conditioning is available as well. There is a full-length glass cedar deck extending 14 feet off of the second floor. To top it all off, this interior is finished in cedar (with the exception of the walls on the third and fourth floor which are pine). There are 6 bedrooms in total, which except for one, all contain gorgeous lake views. 2 bedrooms have queen over queen-size bunk beds, 2 have double over double bunk beds, the master has a king size and the last bedroom has a queen. This outstanding cottage easily sleeps up to 16 people and all the floors are separated and are soundproof.

With approximately 1600 square feet of patio space, 600 square feet of deck space and lots of green grass space, there is no doubt about it that the time can be well spent outdoors as well. The main level staircase turns into a boardwalk, which attaches out to the 30-foot dock into Sandy Lake and a seven-person floating island and water trampoline! There are approximately 900 square feet of beach area for games, and a recreational volleyball and badminton court for the sports enthusiasts. Sunbathing chairs are available along with two outdoor tables with chairs on each level. We did not forget the paddleboat and canoe for those that want the real cottage experience. For fun-filled evenings, an outdoor fire pit is there for you to enjoy.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

This cottage is right around the corner from Loom Lake which is in the heart of the snowmobile trail for winter activities. Private snowmobile rentals are available for those that do not have their own, just make mention of it when booking. This area is also well-known in the wintertime for those who enjoy snowshoeing, cross country skiing. Fishing is great here as it includes: trout, pickerel and lots of bass. Boating too is popular, and you will be only minutes away from hiking, 4 wheeling snowmobile, cross country skiing trails and well as your close o other lakes. There is also a public boat launch and an excellent area for swimming just footsteps away. Ice hut and rink set up pending weather conditions
