Come relax on the shores of the Minas Basin in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia and witness the world’s highest tides while staying in this 4 bedroom one bath guesthouse just 300 meters from the beach.
Hikers will enjoy the trails at Blomidon Provincial Park 3.5 kilometers away. The famed Cape Split trail that ends in a breathtaking view of the Bay of Fundy starts just 15 kilometers away. Golfers will find 3 courses within 20-25 kilometers and another 3 within 50 kilometers. Birding enthusiasts can see waves of sandpipers circling over the water during late summer migration and bald eagles are a regular sight year-round. The “Lookoff”, 7 kilometers away is a tourist must with its panoramic view of a wide swath of the Valley below. Check out Travel Nova Scotia websites for the range of cultural, historical, recreational and other seasonal events the Valley has to offer.
The Annapolis Valley has lots of fresh local vegetables and fruit in season, with farmers’ markets on the weekends in Wolfville, New-Minas, or Kentville (all within 25-30km). The nearest village for shopping is Canning just 10 kilometers away.
This year-round guesthouse is on 3 acres of well kept grounds with an open view to the water stretching across the Minas Basin. It includes the following amenities: washer and dryer plus clothesline, dishwasher, television, internet on request, BBQ, deck. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, bedroom 2 has a double, bedroom 3 has 2 twins, bedroom 4 has one twin. Each bedroom has a dresser, full bedding, side tables and window(s) that open. There are several cozy nooks with gorgeous views to curl up in. We are pet friendly under certain conditions.

Beautiful Location, Lovely Home
Brought my husband, our two boys and my parents to the Mill Creek Guest House for 4 days this summer. The house was spotless, well stocked with everything we might need, and owners Roger and Donna went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The Minas Basin is right outside the front door and the scenery is to die for. We highly recommend Mill Creek Guest house and look forward to a repeat visit!
Everything You Need
I stayed here with my wife last month and the only bad thing I have to say is we left too early. If you want peace and quiet and the feeling of "your own" this is it. The view of the water and bay is breath taking. I have heard about the tides but until you see it for yourself ..... Everything we needed was there but I also felt that if it wasn't we would be able to contact the "keeper" (i guess) at any time. He was more than happy to answer any questions we had. Plenty of hiking trails and views within a 10 min drive (The Lookoff!!!) . One of my favorite days was the day of rain we had, spent a cozy day inside listening to the rain on the steel roof and catching up on some reading.
Will definitely be back.
