Located in the heart of Muskoka, Springmere Cottage is a great place to relax and unwind. Enjoying a superb location on peaceful Spring Lake, the property sits on a secluded undulating slope giving it a beautiful, unobstructed view of the water. The land has a frontage of 200 feet as well as 150 feet of undisturbed shoreline.
This newly renovated cottage has a gorgeous pine interior with all creature comforts. There are three bedrooms (two bunk bed rooms, one double room); one bathroom; a living/dining room with wood-burning fireplace, LCD TV, video player and radio with CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with a water cooler for bottled water, microwave, stove and fridge/freezer. The spacious patio has a breathtaking view of the lake, as well as patio set, two large picnic tables and a barbecue.
A Home Away From Home
The cottage may be secluded yet it's only a short fifteen minute drive to the vibrant town of Bracebridge, truly the heart of Muskoka. It has everything you could possibly need including a large Loblaws (known locally as Independent), Metro, LCBO and Beer Store, to name but a few. The town also offers a surprisingly eclectic variety of restaurants ranging from upscale dining, Thai and Chinese to our own personal favourite - the critically acclaimed Wabora Fusion Japanese Steakhouse.
There are so many activities in Muskoka catering for every desire. Deerhurst Resort in nearby Huntsville is only a thirty minute drive away. As well as a great golf course, the resort has a wonderful lunch buffet, weekend entertainment and high end restaurant. Close to Huntsville is the world famous Algonquin Provincial Park. Bracebridge and nearby Gravenhurst offer wonderful cruises across the lakes.
Don't forget the kids! Santa's Village in Bracebridge and the steam train ride in Huntsville are guaranteed to keep them entertained for hours.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities
The cottage sits on a body of water known as Spring Lake - a spring fed lagoon where you can enjoy safe and clean water for swimming and other fun activities. We have a row boat and a pedal boat for your enjoyment (life jackets are provided). The lake is well stocked with fish, including trout and bass. The cottage sits on three quarters of an acre of prime waterfront. Here you will be able to find many varieties of flora and fauna as well as different species of pine trees. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by an abundance of nature and have sighted many different animals including red fox, white tailed deer, owls and even a moose.

The main bedroom has a double bed with a single pull-out trundle.
The second bedroom has a double bed and a single bunk with a single pull-out trundle.

Fees & Deposits
Additional Rate Information
We prefer to rent the cottage on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday. However, if you would like to rent on a daily basis, we require three nights minimum for weekdays and two nights minimum for weekends. Please refer to our detailed rate information.
Please note that this is a house keeping cottage rental. This means that you must bring your own bed linen, pillow cases, blankets, toiletries and towels. Further information regarding the rental agreement will be available upon request.
The booking may not be cancelled by the renter. However, any cancellation request must be made in writing to the owner. Only if the owner is successful in rebooking the accommodation for the entire period booked, shall the owner refund to the client all monies paid less a cancellation fee of $75 per cancelled week or part thereof. If the owner is able to re-book the accommodation for only part of the period originally booked, it shall refund the monies paid relating to the re-booked period, less a cancellation fee of $75 per cancelled week or part thereof.
