Sit on the deck and enjoy the sound of the waves gently lapping at the shore. Step from the lawn onto the fantastic sand beach..... the perfect place to relax, build a sandcastle, collect seashells, go kayaking or swim in the ocean.
The cottages are original, as cottages at the beach were intended to be. They are very clean and comfortable, and come equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffeemaker. Free wireless internet is available.

We are located in the quaint fishing village of Hunts Point on the historic Lighthouse Route, halfway between Halifax and Yarmouth and less than an hours drive from the picturesque towns of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Exit 20 or 20A off Hwy 103
Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities
Our beach is great for kids of any age. There are several other beaches in the area, as well as hiking trails and a golf course. Nearby you will find Kejimkujik Seaside National Park, Fort Point and Port Medway Lighthouse Parks and Thomas Raddall Provincial Park. Liverpool is minutes away and has shopping, museums, art galleries and restaurants.
Hunts Point is the perfect base to explore the South Shore.

A New Standard In Excellence!!!
We checked into Oceanview in the rain on the 7th of July. Within an hour the rain stopped, and vacation began. The weather was incredible during our one week stay. However, the weather is only a part of the story: The property is amazing. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin that was directly on Hunt's Point beach. It was absolutely lovely. Very clean and had everything we could have wanted. The owners - Joe and Debbie - are meticulous in caring for the place, but are non-intrusive as they carry out their duties.
Have been on many vacations in many places in Nova Scotia and abroad. This place is the new standard against which all others will be judged. Relaxing, peaceful, well-maintained.... Unfortunately i need a whole new set of superlatives to aptly descibe this experience.
Highly recommended!!!
