Rocky Ledges on the Lake is situated on the shores of picturesque Kootenay Lake and framed by the breathtaking Selkirk and Purcell Mountain Ranges. The Guest House/B&B is located 7 km. (4.5 miles) south of Kaslo and 14 km. (9 miles) north of the famed Ainsworth Hot Springs. Enjoy spectacular views in a tranquil, secluded setting.

Two lake-view guest rooms feature private entries, private ensuite baths and attached decks. A large lakeside deck is perfect for relaxing on after a day of exploring the area. At Rocky Ledges we encourage our guests to unwind and unplug from the rush of daily life. To facilitate that we do not have T.V.s in the rooms but we do have a guest sitting room with a large selection of books, magazines and games. For those of you unwilling or unable to completely unplug, we provide wireless Internet and a selection of DVDs for your computer.

Guests start the day with morning coffee, tea or juice while enjoying the sunshine on their attached decks. Those guests taking advantage of the breakfast option then move up to the enclosed gazebo overlooking the lake for a full breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, beverages and a delectable hot dish. Examples include Pumpkin Belgian Waffles, Blueberry, Huckleberry or Lemon Ricotta Hotcakes, Stuffed French Toast and a breakfast casserole. Breakfast is served at 8:30 a.m. and the hot dish is Chef's Choice. We apologize but we are unable to accommodate specific breakfast requests other than vegetarian. You may choose the breakfast option for all or a part of your stay with us.

At Rocky Ledges on the Lake we strive to create a quiet oasis for non-smoking adults only. We are unable to accommodate children or pets and no pets reside on site.

Individual Unit Description

Both guest rooms face Kootenay Lake and have private entrances, private, ensuite baths and individual sun decks with patio furniture. One room has a Queen bed and the other two single beds. The guest sitting room has an eating table, guest computer, books, magazines, DVDs, games, refrigerator, coffee and hot water makers.

The basic room rate is $100/night. The breakfast option is $10/person.
A booking of three or more nights qualifies for a discount of 10% off the basic room rate.
