Located about 3 minutes out of Bracebridge and across from pristine Lake Muskoka, the Daisy Den is equipped with all the amenities of home to make your holiday worry free and relaxing. You'll find everything from a dishwasher, to pots & pans, to wine openers, to martini glasses, to bird-seed and peanuts for the local wildlife. The kitchen-living room area is open concept, with additional space in the screened-in Muskoka Room just off of the living room. The cottage has 2 raised decks (one in the front, one in back) with a patio set and bbq located on the back deck.

There is an additional separate, private bunkie in the back yard with additional sleeping space for 4 people, great space for the kids or a couple. Blankets and pillows are provided, but guests are asked to bring their own bed linens and pillow cases. While kitchen dish cloths and tea towles are provided, guests will need to bring their own bath towels, beach towels and face cloths. A clothes line is available.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

A quick 20-second hop across the road will have you at the quaint beachfront, complete with sand and grass areas for lounging, as well as a sturdy dock for jumping and playing off of. The beach, which starts off shallow and gradually deepens, offers especially warm water temperatures and a fine, soft sand bottom. No weeds, no rocks - perfect beach for swimming and playing for kids and adults of all ages. Very appropriate for young children as there is a with a shallow, gradual entry to the water.

Additional Bedroom Information

There are 2 bedrooms inside the cottage: one has a pillow-top queen bed with patio doors opening onto the back deck; the other has a very comfortable double bed. The Muskoka Room has a couch and a trundle bed - acts like a daybed/couch during the day, with an additional twin mattress that pulls out from underneath to provide additional sleeping space (sleeps 2 in total).

The Bunkie in th back also sleeps 4. There is a set of bunkbeds, as well as 2 twin beds. While there is electircity/lights in the bunkie, it is sleeping space only (no plumbing). Great little "getaway" from the main cottage, perfect for a family or for teenagers to have their own space!
