Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

Little Lake is a small, spring fed lake with clean water, which has been a vacation and picnic site for local residents for well over 100 years. (My grandfather went there for Sunday School picnics)
Grassy lawn extends to lake edge, with 40 feet of water frontage, lake bottom is clean sand and shallow for about 30 feet from shore, Perfect for small children. Private dock. Paddle boat. Canoe. Good fishing in middle of lake. Legend has it that the lake is bottomless with a tunnel which extends to Lake of the Mountain on Prince Edward County.Rural country roads are perfect for cycling, exploring Loyalist Ontario countryside. Apple orchards, strawberry farms and exquisite rural vistas abound. A place to heal your soul.

5 km from Brighton, 7 km from Presqu'ile Provincial Park, 40 minutes from Prince Edward County with it's vineyards and artist colonies. Tim Horton's is 5 km down road, close to The Big Apple. Many antique stores, local specialty crafts, summer theatre groups etc in the area. Applefest is celebrated in Brighton in September.

Additional Bedroom Information

One private bedroom is off a small tv room on the main floor and across the hall from the main bath. It has 1 single bed and a hardwood floor.

The upper level is a sleeping loft perfect for children with four padded foam mattresses. There is also a double bed at one end of the loft which is somewhat private. it is carpeted

On the lower floor there is a large recreational/bedroom area with windows overlooking the lake. There is a double bed and a double futon in this area. There is also a separate bathroom with shower on this level

Rates

Additional Rate Information

The weekly rate for this cottage is $1200.00 during July and August, a week being from Saturday at noon to the following Saturday morning. The cottage is unavailable between July 21 and August 5.

i am willing to rent the cottage for a long weekend etc for $170.00 per night. A deposit of 50% of the agreed upon rent must be received before the cottage can be reserved. The remaining 50% is due upon receipt of the key for the cottage.
