The Living Room

This living room is oh so comfortable with a large sectional sofa, 2 leather recliners, television with a DVD, VCR and satellite reception as well as a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen comes well equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker and dishwasher. In addition there is a washer / dryer elsewhere in the cottage for all your laundry needs. Just off the kitchen there is an incredible dining area with comfortable seating for 8 overlooking beautiful, peaceful Glen Lake. There are 3 bedrooms in the main cottage including the master bedroom with a queen size bed and an en suite 3 piece bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. The other 2 bedrooms have double beds and there is an additional 4 piece bathroom with Jacuzzi tub for your bathing pleasure. The 4th bedroom is in the loft detailed below.

The Loft
The loft above the garage is incredible with a queen size bed, table, chairs, another television, wood burning stove and a 3 piece washroom for your convenience.

The Sun Room
And last but not least, on the main level of the cottage there
is a cosy, furnished, comfy sun room for your lounging pleasure when it's too hot outside or when those little critters are on the wing in the evening.

The Rec Room
The lower level includes the rec room with a leather sofa and love seat, yet another television,
wood burning fireplace and exercise equipment .

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

As good as the interiors are, the outside is as attractive as can be with immaculately groomed grounds,
great views and much to do on your own property. As you exit the cottage on the lake side, there is an upper and lower child safe deck for your lounging pleasure with plenty of seating, table, chairs and umbrella, a propane barbeque and a Gazebo at the end of the upper deck for your use as needed. On the property there are provisions for badminton, horseshoes and Bocci Ball when the spirit moves you in addition to a dandy fire pit for those popular evening marshmallow roasts. At the shore of Glen Lake there is a dock with diving board for your swimming pleasure and this is where you will find your canoe, paddle boat and kayak for your on water pleasure. Once again, be informed that Glen Lake is a motorless lake so you are assured of a peaceful vacation on Glen Lake. Don't forget your fishing gear because there are 5 breeds of trout in Glen Lake. If golf is your passion, there are a number of fine courses within The Highlands and the summer program at Sir Sam's Ski Area is within walking distance of the cottage. If you wish to visit a beach, there is a child safe public beach on Eagle Lake which is a 5 minute drive from the cottage where you can also launch a boat if need be. The nearest village and store for supplies is in Eagle Lake Village where there is a dandy country store, beer store and LCBO for all your food and drink needs. If you are looking for more substantial shopping Haliburton Village is an easy 15 minute drive from the cottage.
