Private island in Cognashene, southern Georgian Bay, 20 minute boat ride from Honey Harbour. Beautiful, unrestricted 360 degree views, including sunrise and sunset. Excellent swimming, fishing, boating.
Rustic main cabin plus separate guest cabin, each with two bedrooms and bathroom, sleeps 8 easily. Full kitchen, laundry, dishwasher, barbecue, TV, dvd/vcr, internet available, dining area, living room w/foldout couch. Two docks, kayaks (2 doubles), canoe.
The protected dock area makes for great swimming, fishing and boating.
Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities
There is a large shoal nearby that creates a breakwater and a little harbour for the island, as well as providing an excellent place to swim to and from (1/10 mile?). In recent years with low water, there is a sandy beach between our island and the next one, which is great for the kids to play on.
