We are a peaceful spacious home in a quiet neighbourhood, just a short stroll from the theatres, fine dining and shopping of Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake. We are just minutes by car from several wineries, biking and hiking trails, galleries, antique shops, and of course Niagara Falls.

Relax in one of our three comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms. Unwind in our peaceful garden beside the trickling waterfall of our pond. Read or visit in our bright sunroom or spacious guest lounge. We now offer free wireless internet access to our guests.

Within a thirty minute drive - Visitors come from all over the world to view the famous Niagara Falls. Journey behind the Falls, view it from the Skylon Tower or up close on the Maid of the Mist. Enjoy the magic of the Butterfly Conservatory and the excitement of Casino Niagara. Visit the Welland Canal which guides ocean-going freighters around Niagara Falls, or historic Port Dalhousie with its century carousel and the Theatre in Port.

Niagara-on-the-Lake
There is a lot to see and do within a few minutes walk or drive of Cedar Gables B&B. Start by booking tickets to the renowned Shaw Festival for an afternoon or evening performance in one of the three theatres. Spend a relaxing afternoon visiting the area's abundant wineries and antique dealers. If you're a history buff, visit one of the many historic sites. For those looking for more active pursuits, hike a section of the nearby Bruce Trail, try a bike tour, or a round of golf. Of course there is always strolling and shopping in downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake, finished off with tea or an ice-cream!

Individual Unit Description

Rooms
Our home is centrally air-conditioned. Smoking is permitted on the patio and secure storage is available for your bikes. Check out some of the rooms that we have available.

The Laura Secord Suite
This lovely large king/twin room honours the historical heritage of Niagara- on- the- Lake. Tastefully decorated with quilts, antiques, needlework and flowers, the suite offers a comfortable seating area, large 3-piece ensuite bath and cable TV.

The Bruce Trail Room
This cosy room with queen bed will make you feel as if you are sleeping in a tree house, with its leafy wallpaper and glowing antique furniture! It is named for the famous 800 km trail that follows the Niagara Escarpment from Queenston to Tobermory, Ontario. A private 4-piece bathroom is provided as are cable TV and comfortable robes.

The Shaw Room
Enjoy the romantic Victorian ambience of this room which celebrates the theatre and the life and times of George Bernard Shaw. The room features a comfortable queen bed with "angelic" headboard, a 3-piece ensuite bath and cable TV.

Additional Rate Information

Two night minimum stays apply to the Laura Secord and Shaw Rooms on weekends from June through September. The Bruce Trail Room is available for single night weekend bookings.

Promotions: Single and weekly rates are available. We provide gift certificates and special packages. Let us help you plan your special occasion!

House Rules

A credit card is required to confirm your reservation. In the event that you must cancel within two weeks of your stay, we will endeavor to rebook the room. If the room cannot be rebooked, we must charge one nights stay to your credit card.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 48 hours require that we charge the full amount of your stay unless the room can be rebooked. All cancellations must be made by telephone.
