Hornby Island is known for its pristine white sandy beaches, and clear warm waters. Mount Geoffry attracts mountain bikers to its many trails; some for novices some more extreme. The trails are also perfect for hikers as are those in beautiful Helliwell Provincial Park. The Island has a unique and tight community with many artists and artisans. The Hornby outdoor market is a draw for those looking for fresh produce and Hornby Island made jewelry, pottery and other Island made items. The Co-op and Ringside Market is a gathering place and a place for locally grown and homemade food as well as booths and small stores to browse. Close to waterfront listings are approx.$1500/week to but this will vary depending on the amenities, the home, and the location. Start as low as $1250 and go up to $2500.

Waterfront homes start at $1250 for a 1 bedroom with the average $2100 for 3 bedroom home. The better quality homes are generally $2500 for a 3 bedroom. Island Legacy is unique and is listed at $4500/week.
