Evergreen Hall is a gracious and charming Bed and Breakfast situated in Deep Bay on beautiful Bowen Island, British Columbia. We are just a five minute scenic walk from the ferry and water taxi dock, and the quaint village of Snug Cove, where you can enjoy various restaurants, pubs, marina's, shops, library, general store and the summer outdoor artisan market. Also nearby are two swimming beaches and Crippen Park nature trails. Artisan Square is another wonderful destination with its art galleries and studio's, organic chocolate shop, gift shops, spa, gym, florist and deli style restaurant. All within easy walking distance to Evergreen Hall Bed and Breakfast.

Evergreen Hall was built in 1941 by the Union Steamship Company as a clubhouse and dance hall for the guests of their lodge and resort, once located directly across the street. It quickly became the hub of activity for everyone on Bowen. Many still reminisce about the dances and fun had here. Today Evergreen Hall Bed and Breakfast is one of the few remaining historical landmarks on Bowen Island. The warm and inviting "Hall" is still used for special events, retreats, weddings or any gathering of up to 50+ people. It is also very suitable as a year-round venue for workshops and business meetings.

Whether you're looking for the ultimate romantic retreat, a comfortable place to unwind and relax, or a perfect location for your special event, Evergreen Hall provides the perfect island getaway.

You can reach Bowen Island by taking a 20 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, or by water taxi from Granville Island, Vancouver. Whistler is also within easy reach, approximately an hour and a half from Bowen Island.

At festivals and events all year long, Bowen Island celebrates its culture and history. Check out the Round Bowen kayaking and sailboat races (June), the Write On! Bowen writers festival (July 1), the Bowfest (August) with a parade, animals and carnival, AppleFest in historic Davies Orchard (October), and the Light-Up Bowen lantern parade (December).

Evergreen Suite
This very special private suite overlooks the old resort site, now a beautiful grassy park-like setting on the waterfront, giving way to water and mountain views, creating a peaceful place to unwind, relax and refresh. Read a book, watch a movie or simply enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

With private entry, this bright and spacious room is beautifully decorated with luxurious bedding and linens.

The Evergreen Suite features a queen bed and day bed, plus full size single cot for up to four in suite guests. Full sofa and chair with ottoman, dining table, desk, flat screen TV with cable and DVD player, internet access, a private sunny balcony, a large private bathroom with shower and an indulgent two person tub.

It also features a lovely new kitchenette equipped with fridge, microwave, small appliances, double sink, dishes and utensils for your convenience.

Here you will be able to experience the perfect island holiday, personal retreat or romantic getaway.

A large bright room with two extra long Twin beds, a flat screen TV, small sitting area and a private bathroom.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel more than 14 days before your arrival date, you will not be charged for the nights booked.
If you cancel 14 days or less before your arrival date, you will be responsible for the nights booked (no exceptions). However, if we are able to re-book the nights you cancelled, or a portion of your booked reservation with us, you will be responsible only for the unbooked portion of your cancellation. For instance, if you reserved 5 nights, and cancelled those 5 nights (14 days or less before your arrival date), and we managed to rebook 3 of your cancelled nights, you are responsible for the leftover 2 nights of your cancelled reservation.
