Only 160 km north of Toronto, We are located on the beautiful Severn River, right beside the historic Hamlet Swing Bridge. Sumach Hill is close to Sparrow Lake, north of Orillia (Muskoka) Ontario.

And if you're looking for a winter getaway, we offer snowmobiling and ice fishing.

Fishing At Sumach Hills

This is the place to come for great fishing. We have plentiful Bass, Pickerel (Walleye), Pike, Muskie, Catfish, Crappie, and Pan Fish.

We offer boat and motor rentals, boat launches and docking. And our on-site convenience store stocks bait.

So pack your fishing gear, throw in a couple of reels and come fishing!

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

First-class golf at Lake St. George Golf Course, boat cruises on the Lady Muskoka, family outings to Muskoka Wildlife Centre and Santa's Village. Play the tables or slots at Casino Rama. And for some light summer culture, check out Gravenhurst's Muskoka Summer Theatre and the City of Orillia's Opera House, both within a short drive of Sumach Hill.

Individual Cottage Description

Our one, two and three-bedroom housekeeping cottages are comfortably heated and include fully equipped kitchens and three-piece bath.

Each cottage has its own picnic table and charcoal barbecue. Propane barbecues are also available.

We offer a sandy beach area for children, swimming, sun decks on the water, docking, boat ramp, boat and motor rentals, horse-shoes and an on-site convenience store.

Campsites are available for tents and trailers, with full use of bathrooms and showers. Daily, weekly and seasonal rates are available. Winter storage for seasonal sites is available upon request.

Additional Rate Information

Cottages are booked daily or weekly.

Saturday to Saturday. Check-in 12.00 pm and Check-out by 10.00 am.

Additional people/visitors in cottage after reservations are accepted require management approval. An added fee of $55.00 per night/person or $10.00 per day/person will apply.

A $150.00 deposit is required when reservation is secured. Balance to be paid upon arrival. Deposit is non-refundable.
