With over 3,000 square kilometres of boreal forest at its doorstep and bordering with Riding Mountain National Park, The Elkhorn offers over 400 kilometres of hiking and cross-country ski trails.

We offer golf at our family-friendly 9-hole course or at the Clear Lake Golf Course, which is located only 5 minutes away. The region is also a nature lover's paradise where you can enjoy horseback riding at the Elkhorn Riding Adventures or hike the many trails of Riding Mountain National Park. In spring, summer and fall you may choose to bike, canoe, fish, swim in our pool and hot tubs or in nearby Clear Lake. In winter, opt to snowmobile, ice skate, snowshoe, cross-country ski or toboggan which are available at our door step. Downhill skiing is available wihtin a 30 minute drive from the Resort.

Horse riding facility
Elkhorn Riding Adventures is a state-of-the-art equine facility located on the Elkhorn Resort, Spa & Conference Centre property. The facility can accommodate many events and features an 85 x 200 foot riding arena, 23 heated stalls, a fabric roof which filters in natural light making it ideal for riding, year-round boarding, trail, buggy and hay rides and a bleacher for spectators.

Cuisine
For over 12 years, Executive Chef Robert Hume has been credited with offering the finest culinary delicacies in the Mountain Grill Dining Room and Buffalo Bar.

Hume's mouth-watering specialties include: AAA Canadian prime rib, northern Manitoba pickerel and our famous Elkhorn bison burgers. And these are only a few of the exquisite dishes that await our guests at the Elkhorn Resort, Spa & Conference Centre.
