Our 3 bedroom cottage is situated between two beautiful lakes, KUSHOG and ST NORA offering miles of boating, swimming, canoeing and fishing. Located near The Village Of Dorset in The Haliburton Highlands. The cottage backs on to thousands of acres of wilderness and for a little adventure there are hiking trails that start right from our backyard or canoe trips directly from the dock. Features large dock on Kushog Lake for your boat or use our 16 foot canoe and 12 foot rowboat. Deep water swimming with no weeds. The dock is across the road from the cottage and has a deck with built in benches. Enjoy total privacy while sitting on the cottage deck as you cannot see the neighbors on either side of the cottage. Please bring your own linens and drinking water. There is a natural spring water tap 4 minutes south of the cottage in Halls Lake.
The Firehouse restaurant is walking distance and it has a lake side patio.

Prices are negotiable for two or more weekly bookings and for short or long term rentals.

Victoria Day Long Weekend May 17-20 - Friday to Monday $400. Check in on Friday at noon and check out any time on Monday.

Canada Day Long Weekend June 28-July 1 - Friday to Monday $400. Check in on Friday at noon and check out at 11:00am on Monday.

Weekly Rentals For may, June, Sept & Oct Monday to Sunday $575 Check in Monday morning and check out any time on Sunday.

Mid Week Rentals - please contact us if you are interested in any available dates

Weekend Rentals For May, June, Sept & Oct - Friday to Sunday $300. Check in on Friday at noon and check out any time on Sunday

July & August Per Week $750. Check in on Sat at 1:00pm and check out the following Sat at 11:00am

Thanksgiving Long Weekend Oct 11-14, Friday to Monday $400 - Check in on Friday at noon and check out any time on Monday.

House Rules

Cottage cleaning is not included with the rental. It is the renters’ responsibility to clean the cottage prior to departure, a cottage cleaning check list will be provided.

For weekend rentals, a $100 deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance due 2 weeks prior to rental date.

For weekly rentals, a $250 deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance due 2 weeks prior to your rental date.

Payment can be made by Online banking - Interac Email Money Transfer or by PayPal to email address "lars.lori @gmail.com".

It is the renters’ responsibility to cover any costs associated to the damage of the cottage and/or property during their rental period. A $200 security deposit is required 2 weeks prior to your rental date.

Cancellation Policy

Once the deposit has been received, your booking will be updated on the website availability calendar. If your deposit has not been received within 2 days, the requested booking time will be made available to others for booking.
A cottage booking has been completed and confirmed once a deposit has been rendered. The deposit money is non-refundable.
