This clean, relaxing 3 bedroom, cottage comfortably sleeps 6 with a queen size bed, double bed and bunks. There is a 3 piece washroom, kitchen, dining / living room with a fireplace, a sunroom with dining option, large deck, fire pit and dock.   The cottage is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, gas bbq, tv, dvd player, cd player and stereo, kids TV and movies, games, books, electric baseboard heaters and a row boat. 

Enjoy this family orientated, traditional, seasonal cottage. It's just a little piece of paradise!

Check-In

Regular summer check in is at 4:00 p.m. on the date of arrival and check out by 11:00 a.m. on departure date. Weekly summer rental is Friday to Friday.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

The shoreline and water is weed free with a stone bottom. The slope of the bottom is gradual and the depth of the water is about 5 feet at the end of the dock. The swimming is great. The sunsets are unbelievable! You can fish right off the dock.

Blythe Shore Cottage is conveniently located only an hour and a half north of Toronto.   Shopping and restaurants are less than 15 minutes away in both Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon.  Golfing is close by at Sturgeon Point, Egan Ridge and Byrnell.  Private road for walking and biking.  Biking Trail system is accessible in Fenelon Falls. Sturgeon Lake is part of the Trent-Severn Canal system.  Boat tours available in Fenelon Falls. Visit the falls, watch the boats go through the locks while enjoying Kawartha Diary ice cream!

Comfortably sleeps 6 with 3 Bedrooms with a queen sized bed, double bed and bunks. Bring your own linens or we can supply them for a charge. Pillows and comforters provided.

Additional Rate Information

10% off for multiple weeks and returning guests. $300 deposit required at booking and remainder due 21 days prior to rental period. Linens and towels available for a charge. Optional end of week cleaning $175. Security deposit of $300 required one week prior to check-in and returned up to 7 days after rental period. Payment by email transfer, Canadian money order or personal cheque (if drawn on Canadian bank and received 45 days prior to booking).

House Rules

SORRY, NO PETS AND NO SMOKING.  Being a family cottage, please respect this rule. Renters are responsible for leaving the cottage and property clean at the end of the rental period. Failure to clean the cottage is a $300.00 charge from the security deposit.  Regular cleaning available for $175.  Deep cleaning extra. Any damage or repair costs connected with your stay will be deducted from security deposit. A $20.00 charge for lost keys or failure to return them. Summer check in at 4:00 p.m. on date of arrival and check out by 11:00 am. on departure date. Summer rental is Friday to Friday. An extra charge will be applied if you are unable to bring your own linens, bath and beach towels. No dirt bikes or ATVs allowed. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 30 days or more before arrival will receive a full refund less $25. Cancellations less than 30 days will be refunded 50% of paid funds. If the Homeowner is able to rent the property for the cancelled term at the same rate, the remaining 50% less $100 will be refunded. If the rate must be reduced to rent the property for the cancelled term, the amount of the refund will be reduced by the reduction in the rate.
