Our cottage is in the Kawarthas close to Pigeon Lake with great swimming, boating and fishing. Enjoy the beautiful views and reflections in the water. The cottage has 240 feet lake frontage and two huge decks and a dock to sun tan the days away. If you like to fish, you have come to the right place. This beautiful lakefront property is only steps away from two kitchen doors and we have enlarged the dock to fit a 24ft. boat on one side, and swimming room and ladder on the other side. The Big Dipper & Little Dipper Cottage is located on Bald Lake Narrows between Pigeon Lake, and Big Bald Lake, which is part of the Trent/Severn Waterway system between Bobcaygeon and Buckhorn. You can boat to Bobcaygeon, Fenelon Falls, Stoney Lake and other connecting bodies of water. You are near the quaint towns of Bobcaygeon and Buckhorn featuring the famous Kawartha Dairy, The Kawartha Lakes Art Gallery, Bigley's Shopping, Sandy Lake Beach and more!

The beauty of Constellation Cottages, is the relaxing view as you step to the lake and drink your morning coffee, afternoon beer, or glass of wine! Many visitors enjoy the fishing experience here right off the dock!
Boat till your heart's content to the town of Bobcaygeon, the sandbars, or to Fenelon Falls for an ice cream. The Big Dipper and Little Dipper are separate cottages connected with a private hallway, with private locked doors. You can rent seadoos, ski boats, and fishing boats at Buckeye Marine in Bobcaygeon.

To ensure our cottage is kept the same way every visit, we require 2 to 3 references with full contact information to ensure that you will take care of our cottage during your stay.

Reference 1 - Someone you have worked with the longest - your boss or supervisor
Reference 2 - Someone you have rented from in the past
Reference 3 - A neighbour that has known your for a long time, and can recommend that you take care of your property.

We make the calls, then fill out a contract agreeable to you and constellations cottages. Thank you for your cooperation in advance

Additional Rate Information

*$300 damage deposit (2 references required and agreement signed by both parties rentee and renter)
*MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN LINENS & DRINKING WATER (comforters, blankets & pillows supplied)

repeat clients receive 10% off existing rates if booked before end of February, 2013.

House Rules

We have an agreement we send out, once we connect.

Cancellation Policy

Clients must cancel one month in advance, and receive 75 percent back of booking.
