Join us at beautiful Kuiack Lake, a small pristine lake that has no motor boats or jet ski’s allowed. The birds provide a beautiful symphony of sounds that encourage tight muscles to relax and allow visitors to breathe deeply and decompress from hectic city life. The cottage offers three bedrooms with two double beds and a set of bunk beds, electricity, fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, pots, pans, dishes and glassware. There is phone service, and while the cottage is insulated, there is an airtight wood stove or infrared heater for cool evenings. TV in living room has Bell Satellite service, small TV in the master bedroom plays dvd movies. A brand new Cuisinart barbeque and a new microwave will assist in preparing delicious meals for the whole family.

A large 12’ by 40’ deck looks out over beautiful Kuiack Lake, or you can move down to the large terrace which also overlooks the lake. A gentle slope takes you down to the lakefront with the dock and swimming platform. Comfortable deck chairs on the dock are perfect for drinking a glass of wine and listening to the loons calling.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

With 100 feet of pristine shoreline, small mouth bass nests lie just off the shore (nests are visible from shore) and fingerlings congregate by the thousands right off the dock. There is a diving platform moored further out in the lake. Bathers can walk out on the sandy bottom, or jump off the end of the dock into the lake. Diving is best done from the swimming platform that is moored in the lake in deeper water. For fishing enthusiasts, Kuiack Lake offers excellent fishing, and there is an aluminum fishing boat with electric motor, as well as a paddleboat and kayak.

The sun shines on the 12’ x 40’ lakeside deck in the morning and afternoon, before noon the sun moves down to the large terrace just down off the deck. The terrace is large enough for badminton, horseshoes and other games. The sun shines on the dock for most of the day.

Kuiack lake is a small spring fed, no motor lake. It is pristine, the water is very clear and clean, and has excellent fishing. Wildlife includes loons, great blue Herons, beavers, fishers and many more species. With public boat launches as close as ten minutes from the cottage, those that want to use their power boats can enjoy the large lakes in the area such as Lake Kananiskeg, Halfway Lake, Wadsworth Lake, and Golden Lake.
