Kuiack lake is a small, no motor lake. It is pristine, the water is very clear and clean, and has excellent fishing. Wildlife includes loons, great blue Herons, beavers, fishers and many more species.
Beloved by Ontario, Algonquin Provincial Park is a wilderness wonderland one and a half times the size of Canada's smallest province, PEI. Canoeing, fishing, hiking and cross-country skiing are just a few of the activities enjoyed here. Camping, popular year-round, offers visitors a choice from campgrounds with modern facilities to old rangers' cabins and paddle-in campsites. Algonquin is teeming with wildlife, such as loons, moose and wolves, and the vegetation is simply majestic. It is no wonder that some of Canada's greatest artists, such as Tom Thomson and the Group of Seven have immortalized the area. Located in central Ontario, the park is accessible by the Trans-Canada Highway to its north, and by Highway 60 running through its south end, also bordered by Muskoka. As there are few facilities within the park, surrounding towns such as Barry's Bay provide many services.
