Property Description
Our cottage is clean and modern and looks out over the lake. It is fully furnished with appliances and kitchenware such as refrigerator / freezer, microwave, stove, BBQ, coffee maker, pot, pans, dishes, cutlery and more. Blankets and pillows are provided. Bring your own linens, towels and dishtowels etc. Includes satellite TV.
The cottage has hot and cold running water with internal washroom with flush toilet, sink and showers. Laundromat is also available.
Fishing
Happy Holiday Campground & Cottages is located on a Duncan Lake, which is one of a chain of lakes connected by the Net River. With a small boat, you can get access to miles of waterways, which have Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Largemouth Bass.
There is other area hotspots, which are well known for great fishing and all within a 20-minute drive of our resort.
Lake Temagami has public access in the Town of Temagami. Lake Temagami has excellent fishing for Lake Trout, Walleye and Northern Pike. Lake Temagami's claim to fishing fame is the incredible Smallmouth Bass fishing. Smallmouth can be caught in good numbers with the average size being much larger then most Smallmouth Lakes. 2 to 4 pounders are common.
Net Lake in located just north of Temagami in the small town of North Temagami. Net Lake is one of the best lakes in the area for Spring Walleye fishing. There is also excellent Lake Trout and Smallmouth Bass fishing. People canoeing the Net River for backcountry camping can take a small 50-foot portage into Net Lake for fishing or camping.
The Marten River has public access just south of Temagami and is well known for Walleye, Pike and Smallmouth Bass fishing. There are wide and deep areas of the river, which hold Lake Trout.
Cassells Lake and Kanichi Lake also have excellent fishing for multiple species. There are numerous smaller lakes and streams in the area, which have been stocked with Brook Trout (Speckled Trout). Please contact Shawn for more details.

Family Fun: Horseshoes, Badminton, Basketball, Biking, Hiking, Nature Trails, Kid's Playground
We have events in July and August, which include: Fireworks, Dances, Pot-Luck Suppers, Bon-Fires, BBQ's, and Annual Corn-Roast and Dance. Other events to be announced. Call for schedule and details. There is fun for the whole family.
Swimming: Clean sandy beach with swim raft. Try our Whirlpool Walk (cool & refreshing)
Canoeing: Excellent canoeing on a chain of calm tranquil lakes. For the novice or experienced, up to one week trips on established routes. Guide available with prior arrangement.
Hiking Trails: Hike to one of our backcountry spots for a picnic. They are scenic, quiet and private.
Fishing: Fish for Northern Pike, Walleye, Bass, Trout, Whitefish in our lake or many of the nearby lakes.
ATV Trails: It is now legal to ride an ATV on any road in the Municipality of Temagami. As a result, our quests have direct access to hundreds of miles of excellent trails.
