Haida Gwaii Accommodations at its best, Nadu Creek Loft is a quiet, modern retreat from the ordinary. We are located in a rural setting near the north end of Graham Island, Haida Gwaii (formerly Queen Charlotte Islands). We offer nightly and short-term accommodations, as well as a modern open-designed space for meetings, retreats or small events.

The Nadu Creek Loft is a calm place in the storm. Secluded and peaceful, we try to cater to people who need a home base for their visit and we endeavor to help you make the most of your Haida Gwaii experience.

Your hosts, Kiku and Gerry have explored much of the Islands.Through their work as ecological consultants, they are able to offer a vast amount of knowledge of the natural history of Haida Gwaii and will be able to direct you to many unique and spectacular sites off the beaten track.

Your hosts have an established cooking and catering business known as Kiku's Kitchen, which has a thriving clientele on the islands. Specializing in home cooked Indian cuisine made from fresh ingredients, we incorporate food from our large garden when in season.

Your host Kiku delights in creating gourmet dishes with fresh local foods and sharing the authentic Punjabi (East Indian) flavors she grew up with.

Well known on Haida Gwaii/Queen Charlotte Islands with those who appreciate fine dining and classic Indian cuisine, Kiku also prepares delicious meals for busy people to reheat at their convenience.

Occasionally Kiku will put on feasts that are much anticipated for the delicious food and the communal eating experience. Kiku also offers courses on authentic Punjabi style cooking. Keep an eye on our events calendar for announcements of upcoming feasts, courses and other events.

Our philosophy emphasizes fresh and organic ingredients as much as possible. We believe in supporting local businesses and reducing our reliance on transporting food from long distances. We delight in celebrating the delicious flavors of Haida Gwaii when in season and utilize the produce of local fisherman, farmers, mushroom harvesters as well as from our large home garden.

We also offer many vegetarian and vegan dishes in our menu so check it out!

On Haida Gwaii, we love growing, gathering and eating foods prepared in a wild variety of ways. In the fall, when life is less busy, we can offer cooking and eating retreats for guests wanting to experience the culinary tastes of Haida Gwaii. We can also offer Indian Cooking Classes featuring authentic northern Indian cooking featuring local ingredients of Haida Gwaii. Cooking courses can be tailored to guests wishes and abilities. Additional Bedroom Information

The loft offers a queen size bed in an open concept bedroom and one single bed in a smaller bedroom. There is an extra bed in the living room. It is a great place for small groups and families.

Nadu Creek Loft is available for monthly rentals at $2000/month, subject to availability. The off season rates (Nov. - Feb.) at $1500/month.
