Our residences are located in Dudswell and Bury, in the beautiful region of Eastern Townships
in Haut St-François sector and are known for their natural beauty and warm decor.
The peacefully countryside is ideal for those wishing to come and relax in nature.
Several of our cottages furnished and equipped watercraft are located
on beautiful and spacious grounds on the edge of the water.

Eastern Townships Activities

When it comes to choosing THE family outing, it’s tough to rally everyone around the same idea. Skiing or snowshoeing as a family is an obvious possibility, considering that the Eastern Townships region is second to none in terms of mountains, provincial parks and trails. But it’s not always easy to find a unique activity when you want to experience something really different. Here are a few examples of family outings with a common thread – the simple pleasure of enjoying an outdoor activity as a family.

Kicksledding
A Scandinavian tradition, kicksledding is a unique outdoor activity and great fun to do as a family. In Sherbrooke, Parc Lucien-Blanchard rents kicksleds and you can practice the sport within the park’s wide open spaces and on its trails along the Magog River, or on another site of your choice.

Sleigh rides
The Jacques Robidas Centre d’équitation (equestrian centre) in North Hatley will take you on a horse-drawn sleigh ride over its beautiful rural land where you can also enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

In Valcourt, Nordik Aventures offers dogsled rides – you can even visit the kennel and meet the pack of 35 huskies. The age restriction for this activity requires riders to be at least 10 years of age.

A zoo in winter
Would you like to observe exotic wildlife from Africa, Asia, South America and Oceania in winter? It’s easy! To see Siberian tigers, Andean condors, llamas, snow monkeys, and the quarters where elephants and giraffes spend the winter, there’s only one address: the Granby Zoo. Because the fur of animals thickens in winter, they look bigger and are often more active because of the cold. Visit the Granby Zoo… to see exotic animals playing in the snow!

It is a peaceful place in a natural beauty.

The interior has 6 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 18 people.

You are permitted to set up tents on the ground. Additional charges will apply.
