Best Of Both Worlds
This place has the best of both worlds!
A great get away from city living, with all the amenities and comforts of home. Cottage life with out having to rough it.
My family and I have been return guests for several summers now, and hope to continue the anual visits for many more years to come!
We have always found this place to be in clean well kept conditions. There are ample sleeping quarters, great space in the private yard, as well as within the cottage, for the kids to run and play.
Located on beautiful, peaceful lake, with great swimming a short paddel away from the dock.
I would highly recommend this rental time and again!
Beautiful Cedar Cottage
I stayed here last summer and enjoyed my vacation so much that I came back two more times this year. The cottage is all cedar inside and out and this makes it very cozy. There is a lot of space for family and friends, and the bunkie is an added bonus. The fenced in yard and well maintained lawn is perfect for pets and kids. Fishing is excellent, I caught some nice large mouth bass right off the dock. This cottage is the perfect mix between a home and a cabin. I look forward to going back next summer.
A True Cottage Experience
I have been to this cottage several times, and every time I go, I am never disappointed.
If you are looking for a true cottage life experience, this is the place to be.
Sure there might be some cob webs, and yes you need to bring your own drinking water (however there is running water for dishes, and for taking a shower), but isn't that what cottage life is all about?
The lake is wonderful, and there are many great spots to go swimming and the fishing is not to disappoint!
This cottage is perfectly located for a peaceful, relaxing cottage getaway and a look forward to visiting it in the near future!
Peaceful Retreat
What a wonderful Labour Day experience we had at the cottage. A peaceful retreat from the hustles and bustles of everyday city life. Great view, campefires by the water, very picturisque and cozy. Would go back again in a heartbeat!
Tranquil And Secluded
This cottage is perfect for getting away from the big city.
Secluded from the road, traffic and noise. It is the perfect getaway from the big city.
The canoe and paddle boat are the perfect addition to this rustic cottage, and the vast property give you a feeling of being in a private world. My favourite time is a morning coffee sitting by the water, with the warm sun on my face.
We found the cottage to be clean, and very comfortable.
Solid Rustic Cottage
First off, this cottage is nicely fairly secluded backs on to a lovely view. No, you cannot swim in the water directly facing the cottage, however, if you jump into a canoe, or paddle boat, you can mosey on out of the little circle of cottages where the water is clear, beautiful and warm. The lake is extremely warm due to the high amount of seaweed, so get over it and swim in what is probably the warmest water I've ever been in. The cottage itself is rustic and solid wood, which is extremely comforting. My friends and I were looking for something very warm and old school, which was exactly what we found. Also, a few of these other reviews seem to be scathing awful attacks, which I find to be fairly unfounded as the cottage was very clean all things considered. It's an old all wood cottage.. what are you looking for? Would definitely come back.
