For the summer guest, the common pool area is a refreshing way to beat the hot summer days. There is also a common area hot tub that is open during all seasons. This is truly a ski in - ski out location with the hill only a few steps away from world class down hill skiing. Fantastic cross country skiing is also available within walking or skiing distance from the condo with miles of maintained trails available. This luxury condo is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, 3 TV's and 2 bathrooms and showers. The master bedroom has one queen bed while the guest room has 2 double beds and 1 single upper bunk. There are also 2 double futon couches which can be used as beds. This location is truly an all season resort that can also compliment your wilderness ranch vacation.

Fishing

Lake Fishing
Situated between two trophy fly fishing lakes Tamarack Ranch offers the beginner or advanced fisherman the exclusive opportunity to catch world class rainbows. With row boats ready to go at both lakes you are literally 5 minutes away from some amazing fishing. Whether you want to Chronomid fish in Spring/Fall or dry fly in the summer these lakes will hold big surprises. Within 30 minutes of the ranch there are more than 20 other lakes that offer exceptional cutthroat, bass, or rainbow fishing.

River Fishing
Located only minutes from the world famous Skookumchuck and Kootenay Rivers there are endless opportunites to fish for Cutthroat or Bull trout. Private land access allow our guests to fish the best pools with no crowds. Tamarack Ranch also owns private land on the Lussier River which is a world class walk and wade, catch and release stream. There are also numerous other rivers within an hour including the St. Mary, Bull, Findlay, and Elk. Hire one of our experienced guides and explore the Skookumchuck in the comfort of a Quad.

Ice Fishing
The East Kootenay region offers some fantastic ice fishing opportunities to catch rainbow and cutthroat trout. Although many lakes are closed during the winter there are still some great choices. Explore the lakes on your own while staying at the ranch or hire a guide to get you to the hottest spots. Bring your cross country skis if they are not biting as there are incredible trails in the area.
