MODULAR MODEL HOME

This cottage was the actual "Summerside" Model Home of Quality Engineered Homes Company located at the Cookstown Mall on Hwy 400 in Ontario. It was there for over 5 years and was the company's Main Model shown and used in all Advertising materials including Brochures & Billboards. It has also been featured in a Book by Sheri Koones called " Modular Mansions", one of only 2 Canadian companies featured.
This cottage has been designed by a professional designer and all the furniture on the 1st and 2nd floors is from the original Model Home.
This cottage also includes a heat-recovery ventilator (air-to-air heat exchanger) which circulates the air to overcome the buildup of moisture, odours and pollutants in the house.

Cottage was only finished being built in November 2011. Not all landscaping has been completed when pictures taken, but will be done by June and ready to rent.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

Private quiet bay, that is the typical stony Muskoka shoreline with some sand in the water for wading. Safe for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boat, canoeing, and kayaking. Large dock for docking your boat, but also for swimming, diving, sunbathing, relaxing, entertaining, and star gazing, and just plain fun.
Lake Joseph is perfect for fishing all-year round, ideal for water skiing, sailing, tubing and amazing site-seeing in a large lake, which has access to Lake Rosseau and Lake Muskoka.
Approx. 10 minutes by boat is the "Ripley's Believe it Or Not" Upside Down Trees" which are beautiful to behold!
In winter, ice-fishing, cross-country skiing and access to Ontario snow-mobiling routes(OFSC trails).

Non-refundable deposit of 25% of rental amount due at booking. Balance due prior to commencement of rental or prior to each month if renting for season.
