Come and stay at this 105 acres oasis of nature in the heart of the wilderness composed of a lush forest surrounded by mountains, trails and two private lakes (Lac au Sable with beach, all sandy lake, fishing, equiped with paddlboat and rowboat and our wild lake equiped with canoe, fishing). Located approximately 1 hour 30 from Montreal, 15 minutes from the ski slopes of Val Saint-Come and golf, 10 minutes from the touristic village. This luxurious and rustic cottage can accommodate up to 14 people. You can add accomodate beds.There are only two rustic cottages on the entire domain. The village runs along the l'Assomption River and offers traditionnel commodities and full fun activities for everyone.

Description Of The Charming Cottage

Our unique grand cottage "Grand Manitou" has been built in 2006. On the land, that has 102 acres of wild forest, there are only two cottages. Our cottage Grand Manitou is a piece on piece style cottage with cedar inside and outside with full big beams on ceilings, wood floors and stairs.

The cottage has a very rustic interior decor, a home style of yesteryear but with all the comfort. There are 4 private bedrooms, 14 sleeping places. You can add accomodation beds.There are 3 levels, 2 complete bathrooms with one double whirlpool bath. 4 season veranda where meals are taken, the relaxation area, or conference room. The cottage is very stylish, very warm, cedar finishing everywhere, very fenestrated, with long refectory table, furniture collection, rest-chairs, antique wood stove for decor or simply for good breakfast toast. Extension table and extra side chairs available in this room and wide views of the resort and the mountains. Fireplace with furnished wood. Terrace furnished patio set and outside BBQ with furnished propane. There is a designated area for the campfire. The cottage is very clean.

Cottage and kitchen fully equipped with dishes, all appliances: microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer, etc. All electronic amenities: alarm system, high speed wireless Internet, express vu TV and music, DVD, phone. Bedding, bathromm towells, nothing else to contribute, great service. Cottage very clean.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

On site summer activities include: swimming, paddling, hiking the many trails, biking, berry picking and trout fishing. During the summer, the private dock has one rowboat and one paddle boat, provided free of charge and enjoy swimming and sun. Campfire site. BBQ. Large crean porch. Enjoy the magnificent forest.
Nearby summer activities include: parc du Mont-Tremblant with canoe and kayak, beaches, islands, untill the big lake l'Assomption. Ouareau forest trails with optionnal rock climbing. Outfitters. Waterfalls and optionnal swimming under the falls. Bike tours. Horseback riding. New golf courses in St-Come, other golfs. Many ATV circuits and circuit trans-Québec ATV. Possibility to rent canoes and kayaks to go down the river l'Assumption with or without help. Paintball. Arbraska. Several summer theaters and several restaurants. In the village there is a touristic office, festivals, traditionnal activities and tennis courts. Many kind of personnal care like spa and massotherapy nearby (5 minutes), etc.

On site winter activities include: in the wilderness or in the trails: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating on the lakes and sliding.

Nearby winter activities include: skiing at Val St-Come just 10 minutes away, 45 minutes from the ski slopes of St-Donat, snow slides on air cussions or dog sledding (dogsleigh in St-Jean-de-Matha). Many trails cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice sculpture festival in the village, ice fishing outfitters in the surrounding area and circuit trans-Québec for snowmobiling and ATV. Arbraska. Additional Bedroom Information

There are 4 large closed and very private bedrooms: On the main floor, there are one close bedroom in front of the complete bathroom with one queen bed. In the livingroom, there is a queen accomodation bed. On the second floor, there are two large bedrooms with one with a queen bed and the other one with two twin beds both near a second complete bathroom. In the basement there is a fourth closed bedroom with two double beds and two single beds. On the other side of this bedroom, there is a very large complete second livingroom. Downstairs could be easily a dormitory or a playroom. Bedding is furnished for 14 people. The bedrooms are nicely furnished.

Additional Rate Information

Please contact for rate information. We rent preferably seasonnely. But we also rent anualy or monthly, weekly, week-end. The rate include everything, taxes, cottage full equipped, nothing to bring. We do group-fee, you just have to call (514) 2691036 or make a raisonnable offer all included. Welcome to ski team from any region, province or country.

House Rules

Reservation and payment process :
1- To complete your reservation, you just have to call us as soon as possible, never too soon, to be sure to get your choosen cottage because we have few and they are very much requested and your period choice: (450) 883-5710

It will take 5 minutes of your time to complete a renting form by phone.
2- Then you are already registered on our reservation schedule.
3- We will next send you either by e-mail or by mail (your preference) our reservation package, including the renting form sign by me, the owner-renter, the clear itinerary and a welcome letter.
4- When you will receive our reservation package, you have to send us in the same envelope by mail, 4 things: - One reservation form signed by you, you keep one for yourself; - 3 checks: one is the security deposit check post dated at the first date of your arrival for the amount of around $400.00 which we do not deposit but keep it until your after departure and return by mail if there is no special expense. - a second check for the reservation, the reservation down payment, which is not reimbursable, the amount is half of the total fee of the renting which we deposit on reception. - and a third check for the final payment, which is reimbursable, for the second half of the total fee of the renting post-dated to your first date of arrival.

Everything is simple and clearly explained in our reservation package.
You can also pay in one payment if you prefer.
