Welcome to Terrawoods where the adventure begins if only in the relaxation and the beauty of Horseshoe Lake. With 7 housekeeping cottages and additional air conditioned Lodge rooms Terrawoods can accommodate most of your vacation needs. There is a shallow sandy beach for great swimming, many dock spaces for your boat, a sand volleyball court, private fire pits at each cottage, complimentary canoes, paddle boats and kayaks.

At Terrawoods you can have the luxury of a 4 bedroom beach suite or the true cottage experience of cottageing close to the lake. If you prefer the privacy of your own trailer, we have seasonal RV sites with electricity, water, sewer services, cable TV and internet (subject to availability).

Close to Terrawoods is the world famouse Seguin Trail you can atv, hike, run, mountain bike and snowmobile. Horseshoe Lake is also known for its bass and pike fishing.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

There is a shallow sandy beach for great swimming, many dock spaces for your boat , complimentary canoes, paddle boats and kayaks.All amenities are as close or as far as you need them to be. Parry Sound is 12 minutes away, Lake Joseph and Lake Rosseau are 10 and 15 minutes away.

SPRING:
Come discover the picturesque Seguin Trail by Mountain bike, ATV or hiking. Join the avid fishers on Horseshoe Lake. Terrawoods would be glad to arrange a fly in to the many lakes and Islands of the Georgian Bay. There are many golf courses in the Parry Sound / Muskoka area to challenge your handycap.

SUMMER:
Fishing on picturesque Horseshoe Lake with more than 22 miles of shore line. There is nothing like a quiet ride in the canoe between the many islands or a game of volleyball on our sand court Hop on the Island Queen and tour the 30,000 Islands or have a sea-plane pick you up at our dock for a panoramic view of the area.

FALL:
Visit the many fine studios and galleries on our area during the Fall Studio Tours or have a fun day visiting the many Fall Fairs in our area.

We have Ontario's best snowmobile trails at our doorstep with direct access to the C, C-103D and 205 Trails.

The C, 205 and C-103D snowmobile trails can take you on an endless journey of well-groomed trails in any direction; perfect for even the most travelled rider.

The South Sequin Snowmobile Club, as well as other area clubs, offer a variety of events which take place throughout the winter such as:
•balloon runs
•casino nights
•poker runs
•the annual puddle jump
•family fun days
Skating on horseshoe Lake is great in the winter we will have the nets out for all our future and past hockey stars.
