Charming, one of a kind family cottage with unique "end of the lane" privacy located on 100 feet of scenic and private Severn River shore line which is part of the world famous Trent/Severn Inland Waterway. Also, large boathouse with 2 bedrooms, and screened in Muskoka Room overlooking the Severn River with beautiful three directional vistas. A truly "one only" setting for family, fishing or romantic get-away. Because of the unique privacy we have also hosted many "honeymooners".
Newly renovated four piece bath with tub surround & shower, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a set of double bunks (two above,two below). Two other bedrooms in boathouse with another double bunk plus an antique 3/4 bed with new custom made mattress. The perfect place for teens or privacy for the other couple.

Large eat-in, fully equipped ski-lit country kitchen with twin skylights. Total comfort and functionality. Sunken living room with wrap around windows, oak bar, T/V with satellite, VCR & DVD player. Furnished with comfortable reclining Lazyboy furniture, antique leather top coffee and end tables and a classic wood stove to warm those chilly nights.
Sliding glass doors lead to a two level deck with deck furniture and gas BBQ. The elevated deck overlooks the large lawn and boathouse. The view from the deck provides a perfect perch from which to view the meandering and enchanting Severn River. Large lawn for games and bonfire pit. Also, a 20 foot private dock.
Try our fully enclosed (except for the ceiling) Muskoka Cedar outdoor shower with hot and cold water supply. A truly refreshing enjoyable experience!

We have had several rentals over the years and this was definately one of the best. The cottage is great and the boathouse is a definate added plus. Very quiet and relaxing place with all the amenities. I will not hesitate to rent from Joe again. He was very helpful!
This place is represented well. My family of 7 stayed there for a full week in July 2011. The setting is beautiful. The host gracious. The house was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to walk into a home. It is very warm and inviting. We are from Missouri and put a great deal of faith coming all the way up. It is in a convenient location. Roads are well maintained. I have siblings that are looking for a place to stay. We grew up coming to Orillia as children and will continue to stay in this place, if it is available. I had the deposit refund within a week of my stay. I can't say enough good things really! Joe, thanks for sharing the beauty of your house. Oh, and the boathouse was perfect as well.

Looking at the river gave me the most peaceful feeling I have ever experienced. I drew a portrait while sitting in the Muskoka Room (screened in on three sides extending over the river) in the adorable boathouse.The silence is perfect and so restful. I felt like I was the only one in a quiet world. Thank goodness I looked up from my work to see a beautiful Blue Harron flying by to perch across the river. I loved everything about this unique rental. I will come back every year.
