Property Description

We take great pride in our clean, neat cabins and grounds. Each cabin comes fully equipped for your stay. Coffee makers, toasters, dishes, pots & pans, etc. are furnished. You do need to bring your own towels and soap products. Bed linen is provided. Our cabins have great decks facing the lake, complete with furniture and a charcoal grill.

We do allow pets. Pet must be on a leash and you must clean up after your own pet. Please consider our other guests and do not leave your pet unattended to annoy others. The pet fee is $50 per pet.

Camping

We have LIMITED CAMPING! Our campground has tenting and full Hook-up sites, fire rings and picnic tables. Our showers and restrooms are conveniently located and clean. RV’s are $29 per night; primitive tenting is $20 per night. These rates are for two people, each additional guest is $10.00 per night. Add $4 per night for electricity at the tentsite. Firewood available at the lodge for a reasonable price. Based on DNR recommendatons, DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN WOOD as it can spread bugs and disease.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

We would enjoy your company here at CEDAR SHORES LODGE & RESORT on beautiful Long Lake. Located 3 miles east of Park Rapids, MN. Long Lake, which is named for its 9-mile length, has depths to 135+ feet. Long Lake is spring fed, has good fishing structures including rock piles, clay banks and many sand bars, yields all around variety catches: Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Sunfish and Crappies.

One of its more significant attributes is connecting Mud Lake, just north, where thousands of Long Lake fish spawn, perpetuating the high numbers here, a population that is also maintained by a consistent stocking program. Scuba Diving on Long Lake offers a variety of under water sites to investigate and enjoy. The water is clear, clean and inviting; our beach is over 350 feet long, with lots of sand!

Individual Cottage Description

Cabins 2 & 3 have one queen size bed per bedroom, two double futons in family room.
Cabin 4 has one double bed in the bedroom, one double sleeper sofa in family room.
Cabins 5 & 6 have one queen bed per bedroom, one double sleeper sofa and one double futon in family room.
Cabin 7 has one queen bed per bedroom, one single sleeper sofa and one double futon in family room.
Cabin 8 has one queen size bed per bedroom, one futon and one day bed in family room.
Cabin 9 has one double bed per bedroom, one double sleeper sofa in family room.
Cabin 10 has one queen bed per bedroom, one double sleeper sofa in family room.
Cabin 11 has queen-size beds in 2 bedrooms, 3rd bedroom has 1 queen and bunk beds, and the family room has two double futons. Has an adjoining door to #12 to form 5 bedroom duplex unit.
Cabin 12 has 1 queen-size bed in 1st bedroom, 2nd bedroom has 1 queen-size bed and bunk beds, and family room has one double futon.

Cabins 2 through 10 have showers in the bathrooms, 12 has a tub/shower combination. Cabin 11 has two bathrooms, one with a tub/shower combination, one with a shower.

Our boat landing and equipment for getting your boat safely in the water fee is $6.
14’ Fishing Boat with 8HP Honda motor; rental is $40 day or $160 week.
14’ Fishing Boat; rental $10 day or $60 Week.
Pontoon rental; $90 four hours, $140 eight hours. Ask about weekly rates.
Non-guest rate $100 four hours, $160 per day.
Deposits; $150 per week deposit is due on or before February 1 for all return summer guests.
A deposit of $250 per week or $50 per night, for shorter stays, is due within 7 days of reservation for all other guests. In the event of cancellation your deposit less $75 handling fee will be refunded only if the vacancy is filled for the same time period, at the same rate.
