Property Description

In the main base camp we have nine cabins which can accommodate parties of 4-12 people. All the cabins are fully equipped for light house keeping (dishes,pots,pans,cutlery,chest type deep freeze, fridge, stove with oven). At Slim's Cabins we pride ourselves on our clean and comfortable cabins.

Hunting

Seven day fully guided all inclusive adventure of a lifetime.
Drive right to our base camp or fly to Flin Flon, Manitoba for pick up (additional cost).
You will arrive at the base camp Saturday evening or Sunday morning.
Your hunt starts Monday morning.
When you get your moose you can stay camping in the wilderness with your local knowledgeable guide or come back to base camp where warm meals & private cabin await you. You may fish the incredible waters of the Churchill River for the remainder of your stay.
In the last 5 years 75-100% of our hunters have had the opportunity to take a bull moose.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

Slim’s Cabins is located in a small bay on Sokatisewin Lake on the Churchill River. The Churchill River is unlike most rivers, it is comprised of a series of lakes linked by channels and rapids. Being located in a remote area on the Canadian Shield means that the panoramic surroundings are rarely interrupted by others during your adventure.

If it’s the fight of the Northern Pike your looking for you won’t be disappointed, because of the numerous lakes and bays where you can hunt for the elusive Northern. If it’s walleye your looking for, don’t worry there are plenty of honey holes to satisfy a good fight and a shore lunch. If your don’t care to venture to far up or down river not to worry, there are two swifts a mile each way from camp that provide outstanding walleye and northern fishing all summer.

House Rules

We must receive a deposit of $100 per person in your party by way of credit card or a cheque before your reservation is confirmed. Once payment is made you will receive a confirmation of reservation.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel a reservation notice must be given 60 days prior to your arrival date. You will receive your deposit less 10% back. If notice of cancellation is received less than 60 days prior to your arrival, no refund will be issued.
