The Stone Heritage Cabin Retreat is offered Bed/Breakfast style. New BARN LOFT RETREAT (reserve 2-day stay). ( efficiency unit )

Decide which down on the farm retreat will best suit your whim's. Enjoy your coffee while the morning sun warms your soul. Prowl the country gardens, visit the horses, walk down our long lane or check out the wheat fields. Birds will be singing amidst the huge spruce trees that surround our home and you will be "hugged by nature" and the greatest feeling of "space".

Breakfast Food is provided for the Stone Sudio ( in a summer open garage a few steps away)Good wholesome food to get up and eat, whenever you want. No demands on timing!

Our Farm Forest/Meadow Trail is great to enjoy true nature and perhaps see the deer.

Pet Friendly :Your dog will love the Farm Retreat Accomodation..At the Stone Studio, enjoy the freedom of your own fenced back yard. Up in the Barn Loft: pooch gets his own fenced balcony. Of course your 4 legged friend will have to be on leash in the large country yard ( in case he chases the horses or digs in the garden.have We love dogs and have our own little Host dog to welcome your " canine family to our farm.

We have "Farm Tour Upgrade Options" to visit cows, crops growing and tractor photos. Of course the donkey and horse are always eating grass nearby the barn somewhere. They love being B&B hosts..

Its awesome to see the stars at night.. its dark here...and quiet.. its real country

Escape 2 The Country: Barn Studio

Our Stone Heritage Cabin is " Off the Grid".. featuring candles, oil lamps and a wood stove. Get Back to the simple pleasures in life. It is so..oo peaceful inside with 2 foot thick stones from the 1800's.Large one room studio type. A lovely outdoor shower with hot/cold water is a real " Hit". All the necessities like breakfast, coffee pot, microwave, plug in for your cell's etc. are in a large open summer garage.( just a few steps away). Do something different.. like your ancestors did.. Enjoy !!

Our Barn Loft Studio is a efficiency unit.. with basic kitchen set-up and supplies. It si a classy country
mini aprtment. View across the corn fields are gorgeous and simplistic.. no cars, buildings,nor people to interrupt your solitude to reacquaint yourself with nature ..TV , shower, and all basic needs are there for your enjoyment. After all .. can everyone say " I slept in a barn !! and loved it !! "

In either building you can enjoy doing nothing... or go out and enjoy local sights

You will be amazed at the large open beams and the use of great open concept of space. It is a fully functional mini-apartment for your mini vacation.. This Barn Loft Retreat would suit 2 people who love nature, tranquility or use as a base for touring Trent Hills area for a week. To wake up in the morning and have coffee from your very own Expresso Keruig and go out on the balcony and hear the country birds to watch the sunsets at night and get connected with nature.

We have restored our Original Homestead Stone Cottage /Cabin. It is right here in our farm yard ( not off in the woods) You will be delighted at the intimate privacy of its 2 feet thick stone walls, woodstove, comfy couch, table and chairs, various books,puzzles and games. There are no bugs! It is of course "off the grid " because it is original... without hydro and water. I have built a new clean green compost outdoor privy, just outside, and right beside. It is cute, clean inside its new shed walls. A unique upgrade is our outdoor private shower ( complete with hot/cold water ).Our guests have loved the sanctuary appeal, simplicity and unique characteristics of our private accommodation. We can provide you with a hydro outlet to plug in your cell phones or food coolers etc. You will be amazed to live by oil lamps and candles. The quiet is unbelievable.

Rates based on double occupancy. Both Buildings require min 2 nite stay getaway

The Barn Loft Studio is minimum 2 night stay $225. Special 3-day package weekend is $300. A lovely spot to come and stay to enjoy solitude in the country, and visit local sights of Trent Hills

A king size bed or two twin beds is available in both buildings (your choice) up to 2 more can be accomomdates in each with cot + additional charge.

Pets $10/night.
