A beautiful century home that was built in 1890. It is located in the peaceful country side, on a quiet road just northeast of Simcoe. It is surrounded by Carolinian Forests, close to Lake Erie. It offers a tranquil setting, an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Guests can take a leisurely stroll through the 25 acre grounds, or hike through the maple bush. Surrounded by farms and gently rolling countryside, the setting is restful and quiet.

Minutes away from many local attractions such as The Lighthouse Theatre, Beaches, Antique Markets, Fishing , Bird Watching, Hiking, Shopping , Dining, Museums, Port Dover, Panorama at Christmas (Lights In The Park In Simcoe).

We have many antiques in our home that we are proud to say are part of our family heirlooms. There is also a large doll collection (some of which are a hundred years old and in excellent condition) We have a couple of antique doll buggies, children's dishes, table and chairs where I have 2 dolls having a tea party-------just a fun thing.

We have been on Doors Open 2009 Tour, The Rotary Christmas House Tour and have had decorating classes through our home.

About Us

A warm welcome awaits you by your hosts Marg and Jim Robillard. We provide a hearty full country breakfast featuring homemade jams, baking, juice, fruit, variety of egg dishes, bacon, sausage, homemade loaves, coffee cakes, sticky buns etc.

There are no TV's in the rooms but internet access is available in every room. We have a common area (family room) with a Satellite TV and DVD system for our guests to relax. Movies are available.
We have a parlour that is very comfortable and quiet to relax and read. Alarm clocks and small radios are located in every room. Older children are welcome. We cater to special diets. (Please make arrangements ahead of time). A bag lunch can be made for a small fee. Our bedrooms are upstairs. It is very quiet and peaceful. Bedding, towels and hair dryers provided. Special rates for extended stay.
Our home is graced by two very inviting verandas. No smoking. Sorry we do not allow animals. Iron and ironing board available upon request.

Individual Unit Description

We have three rooms to offer you. These include:
King Room with a King bed and private bathroom. The room is very bright with a large window. High speed wireless available.
Queen Room with a Queen bed. This room has two big windows and is very bright. High speed wireless available.
Twin Room has two antique pineapple beds, dating back to the 1800s. The room has a large window and it is very bright and cheerful. High speed wireless available.
