HooknBullet Guide Service provides - houseboat rentals, honeymoons, ice hut rentals, pontoon boat rentals, fishing boat rentals, guiding services for fishing and hunting, walleye shorelunches for groups of any size and many other services on Lake of the Woods in Kenora, Ontario Canada.

Our most unique service is a guided fishing/hunting trip with houseboat accommodations. Arrive to Kenora and be transported to our 'floating lodge' on one of over 14,400 islands and be treated to professional services with over 30 years experience on Lake of the Woods. We can supply kayaks, fishing boats and a pontoon boat as well. Having the boat moored ahead of time leaves you with 2 extra days of fishing and relaxing by not having the taxing responsibilities of navigating a 42 ft vessel through the maze of reefs and islands. HooknBullet can keep you right in the middle of the area you need to be depending on the species of fish or type of hunt you wish. Alternatively you are welcome to rent the houseboat and head out on your own. We've been known to supply a few good fishing spots as well - maybe.

Ice Fishing

I have three 12 x 8 ice shacks out on Lake of the Woods in the winter. They are usually set up by the last week in December and continue through to March. Each shack (hut) has propane heat and six holes with a table and chairs, lights, recycle can, garbage can, coat hangers, porta-potti, rod holders, shovel and bucket. Fishing equipment can be supplied as well for a small fee.

The shacks are placed in different areas of the lake and prvide good fishing. Ice roads are plowed right to the door of the shacks. In good conditions you can arrive by car but a four wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Arrangements can be made to have you taken out there and picked up at the end of the day if you chose not to drive. I can even arrange for a group to watch the Superbowl in the shacks and icefish complete with walleye shorelunch at half time. Inquire.

Guided Ice Fishing
I also supply guided ice fishing days for groups of any size. I can provide transportation and all fishing equipment if necessary including portable shelters. . Arrive by car, snomobile or atv. We can head out with portable shelters and target one or several species then have a shorelunch while were out there on any of hundreds of lakes nearby with very good fishing for walleye, lake trout, perch, pike, crappie, etc.

Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities

Fishing on Lake of the Woods is world class as pointed out by this 58" muskie(released). We target walleye, sauger, smallmouth and largemouth bass, pike, perch, crappie, lake trout, whitefish and burbot. It's all about the fishing for me. I cannot get tired of it. Including icefishing, I get over 175 fishing days on Lake of the Woods, Winnipeg River system and surrounding lakes each year. This 58 inch muskie was taken and released recently 2010. All pictures here are my guests and equipment. I provide a minimum 8 hours out on the lake with a shorelunch usually consisting of walleyes, french fries and a salad for lunch. My charges include gas, bait and shorelunch. I have a high rate of return on my clientel and fancy myself a good cook. We have alot of fun out there. Lake of the Woods is a fantastic walleye fishery. Your shorelunch is guaranteed any day of the open season.

Pontoon Boat Rental
Hooknbullet has a 21 ft Weere's pontoon boat with a 40 hp Suzuki 4 stroke motor for rent.
This boat has a capacity for 8 and is very fuel efficient and stable in the water. All safety equipment is supplied. Also on board we can supply a fishing net, bait bucket, anchor and fishing equipment for a small fee. This pontoon can be delivered to other lakes and waterways in the area.
$400 daily plus HST.

Individual Unit Description

Our houseboat is a 42 ft Three Bouys with many new upgrades. The boat is equiped with:
4 queen beds for 8 people (penthouse up top)
4 piece bath
GPS with charts of the lake
12 volt and 110 power
first aid supplies, fire extinguishers
swim platform and ladder
toaster oven
generator
flying bridge
wardrobe closet

You may book any number of days starting on any day of the week. Long weekends tend to be booked a year in advance as well as the rut season for deer hunts. The boat itself is moored at Northern Harbor on A dock slip 21 which is 11 km east of Tim Hortons on Sunset Strip on Northern Harbor Road.
