Located adjacent to the 18th green on The River Course, Forest Park Condominiums offer luxurious accommodations in a more intimate setting. Apartment 103 has two bedrooms with spacious en suites featuring whirlpool baths and shower stalls. There is a self-contained kitchen/dining area and a beautiful living room. Amenities include 100% cotton linens and towels, hairdryers in each en suite and clock radios in both bedrooms.

Unfortunately, the propane fireplace is not available for use at this property.

Things To Do

Given its central location, Humber Valley Resort is ideally located to explore the many sites and attractions available in Western Newfoundland. Using your chalet as headquarters, you can drive north, south or east and experience the beautiful scenery and friendly people of the region.
Western Newfoundland is home to Gros Morne National Park (one hours’ drive north of the Resort) and L’Anse aux Meadows (4.5 hours’ drive from the Resort), both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There are also several National Historic sites and monuments in the region.

Humber Valley Area
Corner Brook is the regional service center for Western Newfoundland. The city, which has a population of 20,000 people, is located at the head of Humber Arm in the innermost reaches of the Bay of Islands. There is a lot to do in the city, which features the Corner Brook stream trail complex, newly-renovated Margaret Bowater Park and the James Cook Memorial look-out which provides a panoramic view of the Bay of Islands. There are local museums, the historic Broadway shopping area and a variety of retail outlets.

There are communities strung along both the south and north shores of the Bay of Islands. To the south one drives through fishing communities as far as Lark Harbour and nearby Bottle Cove, which have hiking trails leading to the Blomidon Mountains. The Ballam Bridge at the mouth of the Humber River provides access to communities on the north shore of the Bay of Islands from Hughes’ Brook to Cox's Cove. Take a drive through the former and you’ll soon find a network of logging roads leading into Old Man's Pond.
